  1. And here lies the main problem with people breeding dogs purely for money......
  2. hi mate has the jerkbait setup sold? If not would you courier it and do you take paypal?
  3. I have a similar problem, two labs kennelled together and tried leaving one in the kennel while i take the other one just causes lots of issues around noise. I now take them both out in the car, but only have one out at a time. This works great and saves on fuel lol Good luck
  4. Guys Due to upgrading the following Shotguns are up for sale: Lanber Sporting 12G 28" Barrels O/U - This shotgun is in good condition with a nice stock and clean barrels. Comes with 5 chokes in case and choke key. Looking for £450 or will RFD at your cost. Secondly we have: Baikal .410 single shot silenced Shotgun: Bought this 2 months ago and just haven't used it. Shot no more than 20 cartridges with it, it has a clean black tactical stock and a fully silenced barrel. I paid £330 for this 2 months ago (reciept to prove it) and would like £275 (i will chuck in all the .410 ca
  5. Considered this with my young Labrador, but think i will train him myself, just having the odd one to one session with a local gundog trainer to point ME in the right direction. Like others have said its very rewarding when it starts to come together. My lad is only 11 weeks but getting him to do the first sit and then stays plus recall is all amazingly rewarding and helps me bond with him
  6. Thanks Lab,My dog will be inside at nightimes but whilst we are both out at work I think it will be good so the dog to be outside (if not just to save it chewing the house to pieces!)
  7. Thanks guys, like i say that info has helped massively, I am definitley gonna get mine built for the hours I am away at work. Just for abit more info, at what age are you hoping to start leaving the dog outside?
  8. Not having a go but I was told not to leave a labrador by itself being a pack animal. 2 would be ok but not one? Will the dog live in there all the time? i.e at night or is it just for the day time? Looks a lovely run though mate, and like I say not having a pop at all just curious as I am looking at this myself
  9. Just bought both the mullenscote dvds, i have met howard and he was very good. Dvds look good as well.
  10. yea that is my plan, just really simple retrieves with lots of reward, same with recall and sit work. I really cant wait
  11. Thanks mate hope he is going to be a belter, just struggling with what bits of kit i will need to get him started?
  12. Well I have took the plunge and added another member to our house. His name is Bentley and he is a pedigree fox red Labrador. He will be my first dog but not my other half as she has owned Labs before. First question is I am wanting to do some picking up with him and have him as my peg dog eventually. What would you suggest I buy in the way of dummies etc for the basic training/retrieval training? Got a couple of 1/2lb dummies on there way but what else will I need. Just to help people reply, here is a picture of him at 4 weeks (we pick him up in 4 weeks also) Thanks in advance Longy
  13. No problems, had a few others offered but your guy is a fair bit closer than those and woud like to see what he has, especially if its a big litter.
  14. Thanks Clare, did you forward my number on?
  15. Thanks Clare, pm'd Do you know the parents of this litter? Working dogs? Good Pedigree? Just curious Thanks again Longy
