Bought myself a pard 008 lrf and stuck it on mk1.a quick hour down farm and I have to admit the picture quality is outstanding. Very easy to use (says the dinasour) only fired one magazine but I can see the pard stopping on this rifle for quite some time lads

Its personal choice imho .its not my thing by the way but if someone (mitch? Lol) has that kind of money to use on his past time then go for it .you only live once .

Heard on news this morning of 3 people from same family drowning in a swimming pool whilst abroad tragic I know but somethings not right here lads.the pool was reopened next day???

Thermal stays on .25 rapid these days mate .we only use day time scopes for roost shooting (cloud cover) .on a thermal scope you can zero to 3 guns (abc) so when you do switch over you go into menu click your designated letter for that gun and it should be there or thereabouts zero with a bit tweaking here n there

I know poaching is illegal but if you not robbing farms /buildings and wrecking the fields I can think of a lot worse crimes going on at the minute. If my grandson follows the path I took I be quite pleased. If it keeps him from drugs knife crime robbery etc then I'm ok with that .but I see where your comming from mate

Used to do a lot of lamping foxes /deer just over border (80.s) got pulled over one night 5 fox in back of motor .thought "were f****d here lol".2 cops strolled up one of them a lass and she used to be a barmaid in my local! 1st cop took one look in motor and said " bloody hell you got more than the local hunt gets in a season lol" they were sound with us .2 mins later another cop car pulls up with a very anti english approach and told us to f**k off back over border or risk arrest . Vroom we were gone in a jiffy

Me and craig went to drop a bottle of plink off to a farmer last night so decided to take .25 rapid along .after a few pleasantries /handshakes we parked up and scanned the fields and very disappointing. A few here n there but with a big moon they were off. Plenty on banks in the woods but branches getting in the way prevented a bigger bag .we still had a canny few hours and back in house 11.30

A good thermal also picks up heat from keepers etc so it works both ways lol.one plugs away the other keeps "toot"

Been attacked by keepers had few skirmishes with farm hands etc . Spent odd night in cells paid God knows in fines (80,s) never stopped me it was in my blood and I loved every minute of it!

Me and pav out last night as he needed 40 odd rabbits for one of his clients. Full moon and bitterly cold made it an uncomfortable night but done n dusted for 11.30 rapid and impact used cabt upload pics so alan might have to help me out lol

Decided on a last minute decision yesterday to go for squirrels and as I was passing pavs it was perfect to give him an invite . We arrived and split up with a view to meet in about an hour back at motor. 5 in the bag between us so off to another wood where we worked together with pav on wall side of the wood me on conifer side another 3 in the bag and off to another wood where we split up . Another 2 in the bag with few woodies .good days craic as usual between us I was impressed with pavs crown but I'm a relic and still use mk1 rapid lol pic to follow

I've a springer that would definitely add a bit diversity to a lurcher . Game as a butchers dog on everything ( except other dogs?) And jumps for fun retrieves just about anything that he can carry .
