  1. here are our two girls 50/50 and 5/8 3/8 beardyborder x grey
  2. all I can say is you are all a bunch of tight fisted ????????. Our youngest got caught on some barb the other day whilst out running with other dog. There is no question of what I would do. Yes it cost £150 BUT no fear of infection as the vet cleaned all the wounds whilst dog was under anithetic and also gave her a dose of tablets. Yeh I could no doubt of bodged her up, but I work on the therory of giving her what I would appreciate myself having in the same cercumstances. If you cant afford the repair fees either dont run them or dont have them in the first palce.
  3. replying to whoevers it was quote about cant afford to buy a quality dog - GET A LIFE!! If you cant afford a couple of hundred quid which is all a certain well known breeder charges then you cant afford the upkeep! spent 3 hours down the vets yesterday because our youngest bitch was out chasing around in a field with our other dog, some how she found some Barbed wire we think must have been lying around and has baddly ripped inside front and back right legs, one rip as big as jam jar lid. OK so you may feel happy to stich up at home but my dog was in pain and I believe in giving her the best
  4. around by us there is a MIN 3year wait! bearing in mind that bodmin isnt exactly well off and heaving with authority properties, you would think the council would try and get some more ground sorted! Anyway I think I may have just got a small private plot near me, just got to give the woman a call. Worth taking a look at is the HFW site on facebook they are trying to conect people with land with people who want to grow stuff? Not sure how it is going to work yet, but get your name in ready, can always turn it down if not suitable. BS if you know when and where you are coming over t
  5. Does posting illegal activities and illiteracy go hand in hand on this site now? Sounds like MT is only pointing out the fact that yet again you have to show off your illegal activities, which I seem to remember nearly got the site closed down perminantely and the only response as usual is torent of abuse and accusations of being an anti . Believe MT uses break back traps for his moles, not pinchers! Get a life boys!
  6. Several months back someone put a code on here to give you access to extra battery power! I cant find it and need my phone desperately today. Any one remeber it?

All the best stubby from Me and MT! 10 years on and we wouldnt change it either! Supprised you had time to be surfing the net this morning though!!
  8. Firstly all the best for couple of weeks time! Have you ever been to scotland? I live in cornwall where they all profess it to be gods own, but after going up to scotland a few years back, Well it is amazing. there is a lovely (but basic) B&B at the bottom of ben nevis that was great. did the walk up the hill which was a memory in itself!! Loch ness and the whole area is wonderful. Oh and dont forgett glen coe! absoloutely stunning, think there is accomodation there other than just camp sites. From what you said money is no issue, however I know that on our honeymoon we took a very
  9. If after the session the dogs looked a bit ill all it takes is a vitamin K1 injesction, which you can get from the chemist to sort the dog out. The main thing is knowing your own dogs would they eat something that has a chemical that makes it taste really bitter? Adam ALL IT TAKES!!!!? wouldnt want to risk it myself if there was bait lying around ! If there was a problem you need to know exactly what dog has eaten and get it to a vets. heard of one farmer who managed to kill his own dog! he was baiting with a pasta based poison his black lab munched it up and that was the end of t
  10. Nothing I can say to make it any better, but at least by taking it to vets you know you did everything you could have done.
  11. Chicken tikka pastie  Tried one, never again! phillps in Hayle - Cornwall or Malcom Barnecutts are in my humble opinion the only two places to get a decent steak pastie! During the winter usually have at least 2 pastie runs a week from my work! dont need any food for the rest of the day! But as for making them - I tried once and biggest disater ever so hats off to anyone who can make them! Might have a look at the video jug and see where i went wrong - appart from not being cornish that is!
  12. PROPER JOB - As the name implies! what a great job you did on those beds! really want to get something similar sorted but costs of wood are a bit prohibative at present. Keeping my eyes out for some to scrounge! Broad beans are now looking ok as is the garlic in my small bit of ground at the back of a flower bed! Tomatoes are up just waiting for the greenhouse to be straightend out after winds, mounted on sleepers, beds made and glass put in!! Wish i didnt keep moving house!
  13. How did it go? or are you still busy plucking!! need to see the finished result!
  14. Look lovely, remember the fun of it well! dont forgett the pics of when they hatch.
