  1. Hi All. Can anyone tell me their opinions on Guy Wallace's " The Versatile Gundog " and " The Specialist Gundog " Are there great differences between the 2 Books ? I ask as The Versatile Gundog book is no longer available Thanks for any comments Cheers Richard
  2. Recently moved from a .22 HW100S over to a similar setup to yours , a HW100KT .177 , mine loves Daystate Select FT Pellets 4.52's 8.44grains Spot on with Corvids and Ferrals , not yet had the opportunity for Rabbits etc
  3. Save yourself a few ££'s over a new Gun and come down to sunny Leics and Try out my HW100S .22 http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/191388-weihrauch-hw100s-qf-for-sale/
  4. Weihrauch HW100S ~ Air Arms Diabolo Field .22 16G 5.52mm Washed , but not Lubed
  5. Albeit 12 days early... That would make it a March Fool then ..
  6. Yep , my feelings totally Looking forward to your write up Millsy
  7. I rate AAF's too. ( Perfect at the moment in my .22 HW100S )
  8. Great Permission you have there Si. Those Rabbits look well fed and very Healthy. Excellent Shooting btw. cheers Rich
  9. Evening Bit of an Odd ball , Light Hearted Pub Talk Question I know, But something myself and mates have chatted about relating to the current 'hard times' Climate, and the Difficulty getting Permissions these Days. Not forgetting the high Petrol Prices. How Far would you travel for a Decent Permission to Shoot ? Cheers Rich
  10. Have agree with Buster, despite the Yellow Pages being fun to 'blast' through , Best route to be 100% sure is through a Dealers Calibrated Chrono. My HW100S is powering at around 11.7 with 16grain .22 AA Diablo Fields through a calibrated SKAN . Edit... Forgot to add, No Yellow Pages to hand for a reference shot as MrsOak has recycled all the Telephone Directories
  11. Thanks Chaps Will have another good look through the Hawk Range. Cheers Rich
  12. Hi All Firstly , thanks for a very warm welcome. I must admit, i've been viewing the Forum for some time now , Excellent knowledge base for all AirGunners into their hunting / vermin shooting IMO Right, some excellent comments to take on board. Certainly made my mind a lot clearer. I don't know how to quote individual replys, so i'll try and pick a few replys out.......... rossi_j , ste.... yes like you I like the Nikko Scope range. As i've yet to shoot by Lamp Light I was interested on how you use the Mag setting for Lamping. Cheers wurz, glad to see another .22 HW
  13. Hi Everyone.... My 1st Post on here , so apologies if i've Posted this in the wrong place ?! I currently use a 6-24 x 50 AO Nikko Stirling Gameking Scope with Mildot Reticle on my .22 HW100S The Scopes great , but feel its a tad over powered for my shooting ( Small amount of Range Practice and Vermin ) upto say 45yrds So i'm looking at purchasing another Scope ,with around a budget of £ - £100max I've sort of shortlisted to these 3 Brands .... Hawke , MTC Mamba or Nikko Stirling GameKing, but the actual Scope is a minefield. I was thinking around a 4-12 magnificati
