  1. Cheers salukixgrey - I've think I've got something sorted now, gonna have to travel to Swindon but hopefully it'll be worth it.
  2. Could anyone suggest a decent Bone man in the Southwest. I live in Bristol so the nearer the better but I'm happy to travel a reasonable distance. Or am I just better off looking up Greyhound Kennels and calling them direct, and ask who they use/suggest.

  4. I got a 1 black&white bitch pup left out of my litter. Only 2 weeks old so won't be ready for another 6 weeks. Docked, due clawed, KC registered, microchipped, both working parents. £450. PM if interested.
  5. Cheers guys, managed to get it sorted thanks. Black rock vets in burn ham on sea did it.
  6. I know how u feel mate, put a pic up of a dog and you'll get a hundred 'nice dog mate' but ask a question that takes more than 2 brain cells to answer and you won't hear anything.
  7. Hi guys, Where can I get a decent, preferably table top mounted, heat lamp? What sort of stores sell them? Or am I better off going to a local farm/country shop? I live in Bristol if anyone has any local knowledge. Cheers. Steve.
  8. Hi guys, Does anyone know of any vets in or around Bristol that dock tails? I had a vet called mike shepherd lined up but he's gone into hospital & I have a litter due next week. I know all the rules about working homes etc.. Just need to find someone who is willing to do it. On a second note does anyone know where I can get a decent, preferably table top mounted, heat lamp? Cheers in advance. Steve
  9. Anywhere round Bristol that's any good is so on top it's not worth it. That's why I av to travel 40+ mile for my lamping. If your thinking of going up round the airport wear your running boots not your welly boots. Lol.
  10. Just got to keeping trying until you get a result mate. There's no easy way. You'll find someone who needs it doing who hasn't already got someone in.
  11. Nice looking animal mate. Be warned she might jack on rabbits on the lamp in her 3rd season like every other collie x'.
  12. She normally comes into season jan/feb time so pup will be ready around the end of may. There's nothing wrong with getting some advice from people at a gundog club but do it before you get the pup so your ready to go when it arrives. As training should start from day 1 in one form or another. Do as much research as you can and you shouldn't go far wrong especially seeing your not looking to trial the dog. PS My springer is very small, probably the size of a cocker. PM me your email address and i could send you some pics.
  13. I'm getting her spayed at the end of the rabbiting season anyway. As i have no intention to mate her and have enough problems with hormones around the house with the unspayed spaniel, the missus and the 2 daughters!!!!
