  1. i should be able to sort you out with some good pic's in the summer mark when im back in the UK
  2. i can see that now, although i dont know how to delete it now it's on ?
  3. Hi lads Just a quick one, Does anybody know the difference between the simmons pro hunter and the pro sport as i cant seem to find any apart from a slight variation in price?
  4. sorry but i agree with phantom, and not this previous thread "The old DPM is great stuff, one of the better camouflage patterns about at the moment. I don't think that the new pattern will make a great deal of difference in terms of concealment, but it'll look smart, and that's most of what the uniform is about." This is a slightly crazy idea that the MOD have only bought MTP to change there image, When infact it just works alot better in the types of environments that the British forces are operating the the minuite i.e green zone afghanistan. Which it works fantastic. I had a
  5. At least you got a few bunnies though mate, I was heading up towards Berwick over xmas to meet one of the lad's from the site for a shoot, when i hit some snow on the A1 and rolled me car into a bank so i was hanging upside down by me seat belt lol So it could be worse, i did'nt even manage to get there, and i think he thought i calling his bluff when i rang and told the lad. Anyway better luck next time mate!
  6. Hi again lads Just want to hear your veiws on the Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 & the Banner 3-9x50 scopes. Anybody own one?
  7. Cheers for the advice lads, Still havnt decided yet lol But im not gona buy the gun for another month or so anyway so there's no rush! and buy the soundz of things i can't go too far wrong with either rifle
  8. Im looking at buying a rifle around the £400 mark, I would like to buy new, and have pretty much narrowed it down to these two springers which both have awsome reviews! the Weirauch HW97k & the Air arms Pro sport. Has anybody owned both? is it worth paying the extra Cash for the air arms? or would it be more sensible to get a TX200 Mk3 Hunter carbine instead and saving the extra cash. I want a rifle that is gona last and not have to buy a new one in a years time, as the saying goes "buy nice or buy twice" This is what has steered me towards a top end springer, rather than
  9. Again thanks for the generous offer, if im ever down hereford way i'll be sure to let you know !
  10. I have alot of experience shooting all different types of rifle's including sniper rifles, which i believe are very similar to what would be used in deer stalking. Although i would need to be familiarised with the rifle and sighting system used, i doubt it would take very long at all for me to be shooting at the required standard. Ive googled it and like you said there are alot of places offering begginers courses ect, although many do not have prices, which i imagine varies depending on what your after, i think i will just give one a phone call so i can ask any questions. thanks
  11. hi I have never been dear stalking although fancied it for quite a while, and have been put off by the fact i beleive it can be a very expensive sport and i do not own my own rifle. Roughly how much would i be looking at to be takin by someone and tought the basics?, and is there people that hire out rifles for begginers ect, somewhere possibly in scotland. many thanks!
