  2. i have the same problem with a staffs feet and was told half a piriton was safe to use

  4. just getting my 18mnth old staff finally switched on to game being in cover, the problem though is when we get home she'll be aggitated around the house, constantly flicking her feet about and occasionally chewing them, i check for thorns etc but there doesnt appear to be any but the skin between the pads looks pink/tender, am i missing thorns? or are her feet still just not thick enough/something that hardens up over time? any tips to reduce her discomfort or harden her feet up? thanks

  7. ive done abit of googling on this and the answer was no there are no 'known' signals just the native ones which are protected!in one way im glad we dont have them here causing damage but they look delicious evenmore so when you look at the price of prawn/longuistines in the supermarket!

  9. thanks for all the help, think ill just keep looking for a pup from proven parents unless an adult dog comes up with a trial and i get to see it work, as somebody said i dont want to sicken myself with my first lurcher

  11. i kind of thought that too mate but im dead keen to get out, ive been researching for two years now and have the kennel nearly completed,books to re-read again and dvds in the post, which has me itching to go! i dont know anybody who goes out either to keep me happy (and fed)! im not looking a world beater either just something i can take all quarry with on a fairly regular basis
