  1. tall freezer for sale full of lamb hearts, chicken mince, green tripe and raw meaty lamb bones, all meat bought from bulmers and excellent quality dog/ferret food... the lot £45 no offers. Pontefract West Yorkshire, selling as i'm moving house and have no room for it!
  2. Hi I don't shoot but my dad has asked for a .410 shotgun cleaning kit for christmas. Seen some cheap ones and some dear ones, don't really know what to look for can anyone advise on what to buy or not to buy? Thank you in advance, any help much appreciated.
  3. We're ferreting with the dogs in Yorkshire. Loads and loads of myxi about so not really having much luck either/
  4. Got some permission over run with rabbits and moles. Just wondering does anyone feed moles to the ferrets?
  5. After some rabbit snares as got some permission at side of main road and holes are under hedge so not really suitable to work the dogs or ferret there so think snaring will be the easiest option. Does anyone have any or know where I can get some from? Don't need a huge amount maybe 10 or so. Cheers
  6. Currently still with the hen as only a few weeks old, should be ready in the next 2 - 3 weeks. Lemon in colour, very pretty with feathery legs. We already have 2 cockerels so don't want any more. They should grow up together fine and not fight if they have a few hens between them or would split and let them go separately. This breed is quite rare and the hens can sell for up to £60 for show stock. One of our hens is ringed for showing so these are from quality stock but not sure how 'true' the colours are for the show ring as we have a mix in our little flock. Fairly tame and are s
  7. They're £40 each near me too but they are all castrated so suppose it's not too bad as it would cost you that to get them castrated, if not more...
  8. Thanks, will try him with the new diet gradually see how he goes.
  9. Are there any coming up or is that it? Seems not to have been very many this year at all. Selby game fair, then Harewood, and a small show at Selby and Woolley but neither of those 2 had racing, a bit disappointing lack of shows this year.
  10. Thanks mate, just got some raw meat ordered anyway so getting him on that and will continue with cod liver oil and try some veg oil too. cheers
