    So here goes....... Hi All I'm looking for some pigeon decoying, I'm based in Mansfield (NG20) and willing to travel up to 60 Miles for the right land. I shoot with an PCP Air Rifle as most of the permission I have decoyed, neighbors complained to the farmer about the constant crack of 12 Bores so Air Rifle was only possible.     Lardy happens to be the first person to let out how these units are made in great detail.. Its the work of Lardy thats upsetting alot of people as hes basicly giving you all the info you need to build your own LED, Search LARDYVISION on Youtube.. Some of the night footage he is getting with his unit and IR is amazing! The whole Cree type IR as been around for time, its how its put together thats making the difference...

    Sorry for the very late reply, and thankyou for your offer. I've PM'd you. I thought this topic was deleted or something as i could not locate it I'm always looking for new sport as i enjoy recording the footage, i know it can be hard to gain trust etc but i thought i'd give it a shot none the less.     The 808 aint too good for camcorder use... Its ok for the likes of ratting at 20yard but apart from that your goin to struggle if you want good quality viewing, Thats if you use the correct cam.. Its ok for the Yukon as its digi, but the yukons built in 940 is on par... The n550 should pick it up easy enuff but i'd personally go for more power..

You could have the best NV product but if you cannot give customer satisfaction than its a waste of time.     Around half, £200 for sure.. Some board cams are really cheap with good quality.. People are using cheaper DVR's than what they used to also. Its not really hard to build your own.. Certain forums have wel put together guilds for the DIY'ers.. Spose its just down to the individual really.

    I've said a few bad things about it on other forums so i gather the reply can be aimed at me.. I've seen the unit, tested it as i'm aware of what cams sat in it and how its built, but it still has bad points.. Maybe some good ones aswell.. I know what anyone should be aiming for when it comes to quality with all this digi stuff and this add on is no better than a £150 home made add on that i built. I know of 4 people currently working on Night Vision Add Ons and two working on spotters. Before we know it we will be spoilt for choice. I can only see this getting harder to make profit as it

    Pulsar 808 Seen working with Pvs14/7. Gen 3 Binos... Real nice full clean spot, built in rotary dimmer.. Its hards to beat along side gen3 for price and quality.

    I wont disagree that the older units are better than the current ones. I've tested older units and you can see a clear differens to the newer unit.. I think the CCD has been changed thats cheaper = more profit. I'm arguing my point as the owner of a newer unit that i add has been returned to Thomas Jacks twice, and replaced with two different units..

    I know how to work the units, Both Ranger and Pro. As stated before i've used a few and even used the older "Better models" I'm aware of both differences on both units, but i still think theres really no noticeable difference from Normal to Pro apart from the pro bein that little bit sharper.. you show me a Fox at 500+ yards that i can clearly identify as i dont think its possible... Maybe i dont have a problem with my unit, or others i've viewed... It may be that your unit and a few others are one of a kind???
