  1. Good sound advice apart from the White Geese again I would think your right BUT they could also be Snow Geese of which I know are about in Cumbria this are PROTECTED so really be 100% sure before you shoot ANY White Geese. Have fun enjoy yourself and Good Luck.

  4. Pinks have been there since beging of October if you knew where to look Hey Big Dev
  5. i have shot a 20ga for 30+yrs and in that time i have shot Hundreds of Geese. if you are planning to go on the Foreshore then i would use Tungsten Matix 3" 1-1/8 or Hevi Shot but these are both Very expenive if you going Inland Remmington 3" 1oz Steel or Saga Steel 7/8oz if you have the ability to shoot Geese in the Head 90% of the time Steel will do a GOOD JOB but to be fair on the Geese let them get WELL in range or use the TM and Hevi Shot ALL THE TIME. Good luck

  14. Hi Bouncer as you probally know you can for a LOT of money buy a dedicated IR lense for a lightforce lamp. when used with a NV unit you can see as though your lamping. A few mate's use a NON LED longe range touch or lamp and cover with IR Perspex job done Animals cannot see nothing. Also a Maglight C-CELL Tourch with a IR Lense at 20ft you cannot see the light but again with NV you can see 250yrds+. If you know where there is some cheap IR Lense let us know please mate cheers
  15. The Blue Tip Hornady was Origanaly loaded in the .17 Mach2 (.22 Rim-Fire necked down to .17) and the Red Tip .17 HMR (.22 WMR necked down to .17) as the .17 Mach2 has not really took of they loaded the Blue Tip into .17 HMR. They are the SAME WEIGHT (17grms) the ONLY Difference being the colour. In the USA they have in the past been White and Orange Tip's. But i have seen that NOW you can get a 20grms V-MAX ???????
