  1. Cheers Tel mate Looking forward to seeing your photos of your Collie x when you get them mate
  2. Thanks mate ill do some research into that condition then because i think this will play on my mind for a long time and take longer to get over thanks again mate
  3. i agree about the raw mate and also you will get a lot less crap feeding the raw. My lurcher used to eat his when i first got him and i fed him on complete james well beloved so i used to cover the crap with curry powder or anything that he wouldnt like the smell or taste and it worked fast. I feed raw now mate which i always did before hand but wanted to give the complete a go. But if you change over to raw mate do some research first as you will need to get the percentages right and what your going to give throughout the week. I work on around 70% meat and bone mainly chicken wings, chic
  4. So was it a brain tumour then? Alright mate we couldnt afford the MRI scan as we reached our limit on the insurance but we did phone about and they wanted £1500 so we just couldnt afford that. But her mouth started to drop on the left side and her left eye kept flicking and she started to get tremours all over her body when she was still which are all signs of the brain tumor. The steroids did really pick her up but we ran out for about a day and a half and i couldnt believe how fast she went backwards. She went straight off her food and wanting to sleep alot and she just looked tied.
  5. Thanks everyone so angry at vets at the moment for getting our hopes up fill like ive been cheated they never should of told me to rule the brain tumor out will be moving my other 2 dogs to another vets asap. Thanks again

  7. Had a same type of problem myself so found a gate where he couldnt get round and just stayed there till he done the jump. In the video below (if it works) he is a year old now he is 2 and loves jumping. The 1st vid is the first time at the gate then the 2nd vid i made him do it straight away and then left it there untill the next jump training hope it helps mate. Thats a leg break waiting to happen training dogs to jump over that!! Any jump can cause an injury wether it be gates or barbed wire i would rather give the dog the confidence to jump a gate than not. I knew he c

  9. Right some good news from the vets yesterday and because she is eating so well now and is looking so bright and she has responded so well to the steroids that they can rule out cancer and tumor she has had to have some antibiotics because of the area where she has the tube is slightly infected but other than that the vet couldnt believe how different she looks from the weekend. Monday morning i was sat outside the vets for 20 mins deciding wether or not to take her in to get put down as she was in such a bad way. Anyway she is still eating and drinking well even chased the neighbours cat ye
  10. Glad to hear mate Cheers Geoff mate been a real roller coaster this past few weeks mate some times i wounder why we put ourselves through all this but fingers crossed mate
  11. Cheers mate im not going to get to carried away as i know they will left her a bit but it was to stop the immune system working against the the gut so she can start eating again and they did say if it is a tumor or some type of cancer she wont eat still and also she aint showing signs of having a tumor so i need to just keep working with her For the first time last night she had some chicken wings and some mackrel fillets and this morning she had 5 chicken wings and her food through the tube with the steroids. I have a appiontment at the vets this afternoon so will update then cheers again
