  1. were abouts are u mate av u still got dog

  2. I didnt think much of the Russells there. There mostly seemed to be showy type people there. I didnt take the bitch for sale along. I took her sister, she bit the judge which didnt go down too well and he ignored me after that. I very rarely go to shows, maybe once or twice a year, and each time I do I am reminded of why I dont go to many!! Some of the coloured terriers were nice though, I watched that ring more after seeing the typical show people walk into the Russell ring.
  3. Please note I will be meeting some friends at the NWTF Terrier show tommorrow (sunday). So if anyone is interesed I will be taking her with me. Its at Market Bosworth Rugby Club.
  4. Well! What a waste of time. The couple were very excited about this little bitch and were desperate to come and collect her. They turned up this morning and aparantly she is too full on and bouncy for them. They wanted a quiet pet. Not what they said on the phone. They also assumed she would be house trained which she is not. So she is still for sale. I should have waited until they collected her before I put her as sold but they seemed so excited about her! My fault really. So she is still with me and still for sale. Please note she is not ideal for a pet as YES, she is
  5. Bitch is now sold. Thanks for all the interest! John.
  6. Many thanks but I meant no reverse gear for any type of cover!
  7. Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion and I thought that as I am advertising her I will explain why I think £250 is a fair price for this bitch... The average price for a pup bred how she is, is at least £200 these days. Even pups bred out of pure rubbish carry a higher price than is asked for her. A rescue dog will cost you a min of £150 in the form of a donation fee. You dont have to wait until she is ready to enter as she is ready now, she is very obiedient and crashes through bushes like they are not there. She will not wander off while you are ratting and do her own
  8. Yes no problem. But I can only send via MMS so if you pm me your number I will be more than happy to send you some pictures.
  9. You are the mad geordies' new pal mate

  10. I have been to his kennels myself. Yes, he earns his money from training and selling Gun dogs and breeding them but he does not have endless amounts of dogs there! Obviously everyone has their own experiences but mine have been fine. I took a friend there to buy a lab. I thought Alan was very open and honest about the dog. He gave a full demo of what we decided we wanted to see on the day, we put all the blind retrieves out and told him exactly what we wanted to see the dog do. We even shot over it and my friend is still happy to this day. You could obviously say that all gun dog
  11. I would say that it depends how much experience you have with regards to training dogs or if you can come by useful advice easily. Cockers are VERY easily ruined if not trained properly! Where as labs are far more straight forward. It is two totally different dogs in my opinion and it is most definatly two totally different ways of training! Which one do you really want?? They are both amazing dogs in their own right!! Be nice to have both!! I have had both breeds and I loved them both for different reasons! The cocker because he was just forever happy, forever willing a
  12. wow! What a response!! Thanks guys. I will take all your advice on board and steer clear of the rechargeables And many thanks for the messages with lamps for sale, I will be in touch! Cant wait to get my bitch going on the lamp, she is going so well on daytime stuff!! Happy Hunting
