  1. Look in the back of The Shooting Times...
  2. It probably belongs to a syndicate or a farmer. It is NOT a Public Wood unless it has a foot path going through it, so stay out of it because you're messing with somebody's shooting.
  3. I disagree with you first paragraph, but the second one is 100% correct and probably the most true paragraph on this website. They don't realise that the foxes and badgers will wipe all ground nesting birds and rare rodents out if they're given the chance!
  4. Some prefer to read other's thoughts and experiences; rather than plaster the site with rubbish and slander, which the majority of this site is made up of.

Neither can you, by the looks of things. It's ridiculous not rediculous. I make an effort to spell appropriately; these on here who are so proud of their country do not. That was my point.

Buy a raft and f**k off to Pakistan then. That says it all. Bunch of thugs!

That's strange, as the National Front are a political party...

What a crock of complete shite this is! Some of you folk call yourself patriotic; but you can't spell the vocabulary that your own country uses! The English Defence League are a team of yobs that storm the streets intoxicated and causing trouble. If you want to make a real change, then why not go about things the appropriate way and create a political party? Some of your beliefs are rediculous! I'm ashamed that we have such idiotic prats in our English race.
  9. I rate the rabbit cages highly when there's not much food about for them. We set them in lines 15 foot apart along hedge rows where there are lots of rabbits with all of the doors facing the same way.
  10. If you're snaring foxes in hedges you should put some brash either side of the snare so the fox can't get around the snare. I'm not sure cm but you should set the snare the width of your hand fully spread out. Put the side of your hand on the floor, spread your fingers out and set the snare so the bottom of the snare is just above your thumb.
  11. I'm in Northampton and my FEO is a top gentleman. It took me about 3 months to get my ticket though!
  12. What hight are you setting the snares at? Are you setting to bait (dead stuff, not alive!) This probably isn't the best advice: you do not need to use a firearm to dispatch a fox. A decent piece of wood to the head would do the trick immediately. There are no laws on what to dispatch foxes with, only codes of practice. Obviously you should adhere to these codes of practices, but there is no law regarding a type of tool to dispatch it with. Treat the fox with respect and don't do anything stupid. EDIT: I would always dispatch a fox in a snare with a shotgun, but different people have differ
  13. We spin feed through the woods and use hoppers. When we put the poults out first of all we use the Manolas that we use in the rearing sheds then we progress on to filling hoppers and spinning.
  14. I have one of the Baikal over and unders, it's a nice gun but it does not like 30g 6s going through it.
