have a veried mixture of dogs, from aworking spaniel,to a pure saluki and whippets plus crosses, love them all and make life interesting, play some darts, go out with my mates and last but most important my children.
  1. This happened to my dog, when I took him to the vets, he had a tiny scratch in his eye, was fine with the drops the vet gave me for him. Hope that its as simple as that for you, but I was worried sick as well, it looked horrible atb
  2. let me tell you that dog was out every day OFF the lead with working dogs for 2 years, what happens now I do not know hav'ent spoke to his owner for a while
  3. Paul says he has 3, so he must be pleased with the sire, I know a few others that have more than 1 pup out of him as well, they are very pleased, could she have had a back problem, thats not unusual, but she is only 1 dog out of a few, and buying a pup, like anything is a bit like the lottery anyway, you win some you loose some
  4. hope your friend finds his dog soon paul
  5. It sounds like you only have the kc paper's, If you want to know anything else, it might be an idear to ask the kennel club for a 5 generation pedigree certificate, that could tell you a bit more, oh and they don't give it you for free, that should be on your kc paper's atb
  6. so sad, can't understand why people would do that, if you cant be bothered with the dog or getting it fixed, take it to a rescue center, someone will step up, as they have, and lets hope what comes round goes round to the sick sods that did it to the pup
  7. really nice dogs, both equally as nice as each other, credit too you, and bet you can't wait to get them out this season
  8. we will beg to differ on this dog, you have your oppion I have mine, he's still kennel club registered I'm sure that kennel club will register any litters he has, other countries accept brindles as purebreds its only this country that does'nt, and all this lot on hl want to know is can the bugger run lol
  9. the dog I'm talking about is cream, so if he was brindle it would be easy to see, so if people are saying the dog is brindle, I'm sure a few judges would have spotted that, brindle was only mentioned when he was going to australia
  10. I did'nt say they were showing brindle sals here said the dog is showing you said he was brindle, he can't be he would'nt be a show champ would he, judges know about brindles they would'nt hsve picked him would they, if they thought he was brindle
  11. but at the end of the day nobody has any proof for or against, do they really, was it jealous gossip you have got to admit when a saluki is mentioned, there is so much bitchyness, and that goes for the coursing and the show person, and the dogs still showing over here and winning over here
  12. he has got kizzy of barkstead in him, can't see why she would'nt show you his ped he's got a few litters,
  13. I'm on about the dog from scotland, going over to australia, that you mentioned earlier
