  1. My wife Chris & my mate P.Fowler were the ones excluded from the nlrc finals. Chris has written two letters to the nlrc, but has so far only had one reply, which doesn't really give them a valid reason for the exclusion. the only thing I can think of is the letter I wrote to The Countryman's weekly, about the event at Bakewell that was ran by the nlrc, back in June.
  2. Lurchers & terriers on both days. simo & straight racing on in the mornings on both days, showing at 1pm. racing entries taken from 9am to start 10am.
  3. Champion of champions was Blitz owned by B.Campbell.
  4. Terrier champion of champions Blitz , Reserve Major, third place Monty All owned by B.Campbell fourth place Cegan owned by A.Brewer.
  5. Suda & bethanw Lurcher Champion of Champions Rumour owned by S.Henson, Reserve Dance owned by P.James, Third place Tan owned by D.Taylor & fourth Solo owned by M.Lewis.
  6. JUNE 16TH & 17TH THE WELSH GAME FAIR, NEW VENUE - Nant Y Ci Showground, Carmarthen, South Wales. situated off the A40 between Carmarthen & St Clears, 15 mins from M4. On Saturday & Sunday 16th & 17th June, 2012.Terrier & lurcher show on Sunday 17th June starts 12.30pm. Qualifier for The Countryman's Weekly Champion of Champions. The terrier & lurcher show is kindly sponsored by Kennel Mate, Dorwest Herbs & The Countryman's Weekly.
  7. The Coursing Crew's Winter event day Nov 20th, to be held at Poolsbrook, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S43 3LF. Simulated coursing £5 per entry, Straight racing £2 per entry. Entries taken from 9.30am to start as soon as first card is full. Lurcher show to start at 1pm approx. £1 per entry.
  8. Just to let you know Paddy has arrived at Newark to set up & there is not enough room to run the simulated coursing. We apologise to anyone coming for this event, but we will put hurdles on instead!! Cheers!

  11. We are running the lurcher & terrier events & it is defo entries from 9am simo to start at 10am followed straight away by the straight racing. ALL RUNNING EVENTS IN THE MORNINGS ON BOTH DAYS. Showing to start at 1pm.

  14. Just to let you know that this situation was bought to our attention on the Sunday night. Tracey of The Countryman's Weekly contacted J Smith first thing Monday morning & asked him outright if he had showed the correct dog in the championship, he said 100% it was the correct dog. As we do not know every qualified dog on sight there has to be an element of trust between the owners & organisers. Tracey is looking through past photos to try & confirm one way or the other, if anyone has any photos that can confirm any of the allegations please send them in to The Countryman's Weekly.
