  1. I've had alot of fun using this method, What I do is find a well eaten patch, then make a hide preferably to the left hand side of the nearest tree. The reason for this is as a right handed shooter, it's easier to swing your gun from the waist to the left than to the right. As my gun is zeroed to about 30yards, I would stand under the farthest limbs of the tree then walk back to the right 30 steps and make a hide. That way any birds that land should be in range. I put up to 5 decoys in the tree depending on how big the tree is. Dont over crowd the tree.I also put 2 or 3 decoys on the ground. H

  10. I've never had any trouble with smell or rott as long as you let the dummy dry out.I gave a dummy to a mate 2 years ago and he's still got it. The best thing about this way is there is no messing about salting and trying to tie a split skin on, you can simply skin the rabbit put it on the dummy and away you go.It dosen't matter if the skin lasts a day or a year it's so easy to just put another skin on.
  11. The way I do it is cut around the rabbits neck, then peel the skin back over the rabbits body and legs. You will end up with the skin inside out in one piece. Put the dummy against the bottom of skin then pull it over the dummy. The skin will dry to the dummy and last for months.
