  1. You didn’t get in that side much less play a whole career in that side if you were shite !
  2. Laptop out of charge ?…..they dont let you in without one down there do they ? Lol
  3. Watched Ole last week on there, him and Keane are funny together. Lol
  4. @NEWKID Just watched Rio talking about when Moyes first came to Utd……very interesting. Its on the overlap on YouTube.
  5. Depends on the breed I’d imagine ?, you can condition big running type dogs of that size but I know absolutely f**k all about bull breeds.
  6. No, fair shout mate, I thought you was suggesting that physicality should play no part in football and I just didn’t agree with that. I personally don’t think you can compare contact to non contact myself. I agree that the speed and physicality of some tackles just don’t come over on the tele, and tele is most peoples connection to the game.
  7. Don’t agree with that mate, contact sport is, well, contact ! It gives so many good life lessons about physical and mental robustness….I think watering that down is criminal personally and I don’t blame people one little bit for thinking someone who got a shoulder barge is a minge for rolling around like they have been killed. Just get up you c**ts, if they want ping pong rules then they should go and play that.
  8. As the saying gos mate, divs and their money are easily parted ! If I was France, I’d be doing exactly the same.
  9. I reckon old Moyes May just be a frustration too far for them mate and we nick it on the break, can’t give any logical explanation as to why I’m feeling a tiny bit optimistic but I just do. f**k knows why ?
  10. You lads don’t know you’re born, we just had two days of sun and it was like winning the lotto !……basically, it starts raining in October here, has two weeks off in June and then rains until the following October ! Lol
  11. Yep, fair opinion mate…..not saying I agree totally but I don’t think you are metal for holding those views, it’s all reasonable enough. Very hard to get the nuance of a conversation over in the written word so that’s why these things get a bit 6s & 7s from time to time. How’s your little club doing, been meaning to catch up and give them a watch this week but haven’t got round to it.
  12. “A shoulder shrug of a manager”……perfect mate, absolutely perfect. That’s him in a nutshell.
  13. There’s no nutritional value in them mate even IF they would eat them which they won’t, nothing does. Lambs May nip at fresh shoots when you cut them but that’s all, not enough to keep them down…..ruminants like grass and clover and all the nice mixed grassland plants….they won’t eat shit. Most farmers spray them but that kills all the good stuff in your soil so then you have to replace that with chemicals, I don’t want to eat poison and I don’t want to eat chemicals and I don’t want to f**k up nature so all that is out for me. Trees do a good job on rushes, where I have trees the
  14. I only have a very basic knowledge about ground water because my fields have an infestation of rushes and I’m no fan of spraying poison on my fields. Rushes create their own environment which gives them best chance to thrive and that involves soil and ground water. So I have spent some time learning about regenerative farm practice in relation to soil etc etc and along with that you get some knowledge of what modern industrial agriculture does to soil structures and what those things mean in reality. Its all common sense once you know but like most things mate, until you know yo
  15. Good post mate. Obviously you are at the coal face week in/week out but do you think people are “making demands” ? Im sure some are because that the nature of football but we have always been a pretty humble lot, so is some of it not just lads who just want to see a bit of football ? I know we can get all clever about finances and premier league survival and all that, but putting that aside I have always thought that when it comes down to it people from the areas that would be going down the hammers understand what a bit of proper football looks like and how the game should be p
  16. They should build them right on the coast then the new residents won’t have too far to travel ! Lol
  17. 2 million acres lost to development in the last 25 years mate. An acre of grass land can hold 27,000 gallons of water ! That water has to go somewhere !
  18. Managing ground water better than anything ever invented for the last gazillion years !
  19. This shows degraded soil perfectly !……tanks full, spring over flows, soil can’t hold it because it gets ploughed twice a year and the structure is f****d which is also made worse by monoculture modern agricultural intensive practices…..and you get soil run off…..as clearly seen here. The scientific name is “man made clusterfuck !”
  20. We don’t believe you !
  21. Nope, I can get as far underground springs…..I can also get as far as concreting over things leaves less ground to soak water and monoculture crops which cause degraded soil also effect the grounds ability to retain water. So it’s either the tank is full up or the tank can’t get filled in the first place. Don’t know what the PSI+pye number of that is but that’s what it is !
  22. Edited to add: As you can see you can not engineer out springs as they are actually part of the strata, you can only TRY and engineer a diversion of course when they over flow (say after a prolonged period of rain) and I’m guessing they ain’t factoring that into most housing development budgets…..Im guessing most builders won’t even commission a geological survey to see if they are there in the first place.
  23. Riveting……utterly, utterly riveting ! If you are on a hill it’s probably underground springs……you can read this after you wake up from reading the post above !
  24. Aye, cause the cunting things are always in the garage ! Lol
