    I'm tempted to walk around my office and test your theory but I am very confident it would just court bad publicity from both males & females. I have been in this game too long to have ever witnessed any other sort of reaction. If you feel this is doing the cause good then carry on, somehow I feel that this just gives further ammunition to the anti's.

    Have seen thousands of carcasses and all caused by my hand. It doesn't put me off. I am not a detractor, I am a supporter but it doesn't help the cause when we (and I say we) glorify the damage caused by the shot. Dignity and respect for the carcass used to matter when I hunted. Like I say, not trying to annoy anyone but having been in this game for over 35 years you get to understand how the other side thinks & works. I take your point.     why it dosnt really matter what its shot with dead is dead With that logic we might as well start posting pictures of road-kill, after all, dead is dead.

    I think the lack of control is around posting pictures of the carcass. What did you expect a 308 to do to a rabbit? not like it needs much imagination. Haven't been here long granted but posts like this hardly portray anything sporting. Not trying to rain on the shooters parade but a little restraint is called for here.

    Hi all, stumbled across this site and thought I would join up as there's some very good info and some very experienced hunters in the ranks. I used to hunt/shoot/fish for 35 years but stopped about 10 years ago. Recently I started up again but this time with a camera. Still love to hunt but now it's a case of getting even closer so the heartrate gets an even better workout than it ever did. I shot Geese over Solway & the Wash, shot deer all over the country, hunted with dogs/ferretts for years, bred captive BOP's and really enjoyed my time doing them all. So why did I stop? not comple
