  1. Had the exact same problem myself but a file down sorted it out.
  2. Save up a few bob more and get yourself a Leica, you will never need another rangefinder.
  3. I have a Hawke Endurance 30 ir 3-12x50 on mine and i cant fault it, very clear and crisp glass great at dusk and dawn aswell. http://www.hawkeoptics.com/riflescopes/endurance30/index.php
  4. Just seen this on youtube two rabbits with one shot with the 17 Hmr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ra4AnvyQjDM
  5. Thats some fine shooting nice set up you got there, nice write up to.
  6. i wasnt really going to do clays with it, i figured i could practice unitll i got my own gun, but i suppose if i liked it then why not... do 12 bores not have quite a kick in them? Dont be worrying about the recoil at all, this sometimes makes people quite nevrous re shooting. Hold the gun well into you shoulder and lean in and you will be grand. Now it has got a bit of kick but if you do the basics you will be grand and will hopefully enjoy it. Might be worth your while to meet up with some regular guys that shoot and go throught the basics with them or get a lesson or two.
  7. Id go for a 12 bore O/U its what i started off with about 16 or so years ago when I was your age, you will be well able for it. As has been said go to your local firearms dealer and try as many shotguns as you can, remember its all about fitting you right. Take an experienced shooter along with you to see what way the gun is fitting you when it is mounted. A nice secondhand Lanber or a baikal (workhorse of guns). Try stay away from yildiz they kick like a mule :vava: have heard some bad reports on them. Good luck with everything RH
  8. Plus one with Snap Shot Your rifle is only as good as the glass that it wears.. Usually
  9. If they are anything like the .223 rounds you wont have any problems at all, my tikka t3 lite shoots great groups with these usually half inch or all touching if i do my bit.
  10. Hey Mark i have a tikka t3 lite with a bushnell 6500 elite in a 4.5-30x50, half inch groups at 100 yrds with horandy 55 grain off a harris bipod. Cz have some great models to, had a cz lux could not fault it.
