This is the general rule I worked off when I got my ESS, and they are live wires when their pups. I was told 5 mins per day per month of age. But if you feel that your dog needs that little more exercise then go for it. Dont forget a lot of playing will tire the little nipper out, but try and make these enjoyable for the pup. The general rule that I worked off was 5 mins for every month of the dogs age. So in your case 15 mins.

its nice to see training progressing isn't it, especially when your a novice-have you had a helping hand at all?? What lines is your dog from? Yes its a great feeling when it all starts coming together, wondered if it was the right thing at 1st but realy enjoying it now. Ive been to Bottlingwood once hopefully going back this month sometime. Lee
