  3. We ran with the tap method for a couple of months but Lidl were selling the intercom sets for about £7 each!!! so i tried one and it was great. So i went back and brought 4 more.... The same thing is on the Bay number 200352957186. We also use the padding that you buy to put on your roof rack when you acarry canoe ,around the sunroof hole to save your ribs from the ruts and holes....
  4. Used with a motorcycle rider to pillion type intercom. This is probably the best bit of shooting kit i have!!!
  5. All cleaned up, going to see what timber i have in the workshop tomorrow and make a nice shield to mount him on
  6. I got an invite to shoot from a good friend last night. We met up and 7pm with the intention to take a few rabbits and then try to clear a few fox cubs from the many dens he has on his land. First of we set out with the rimfire's me my .22 and him his.17hmr. It wasnt long before we had a good few in the bag and as the light was starting to go, we nipped back to the cars to grab a coffee and the centrefires both 6.5x55's We baited up a few area's with the rabbit we had shot and moved onto the other end of his permission to start working our way back into the wind. As we rounded a small co
  7. whats work? i mean whats your work, just wondering because you have a furnace that you can burn foxes in. We are joiners and have v large wood burner which we use to burn all off cuts and waste. It cost me 10K buts saves me £600 in skips a month and it heats the workshop in winter. It has a heat exchanger so it also heats the work shop but can be vented outside in summer, when we dont need the heat but still need to burn waste. Once the fires been on an hour or so in go the carcases and within an hour there pretty much gone
  8. In the furnace at work for me Gives that loverly BBQ aroma to the workshop
  9. None, but in the 2 years ive been shooting this piece of land weve only ever seen 1 fox, and that disapeared over the horizion as soon as the lamp hit it
  10. Popped up with my brother to a local permission mainly to check zero on Robs Quad as he noticed his barrel was loose last trip out. We werent expecting to be out long as big old thunder storm was closing in fast. So a few shot's on paper and both rifles(.22lr) clover leafing at 60 yards Still no rain and it was nearly dark, so we decided to see if we could knock a few bunnies over. With the storm closing quick it was nicely dark and a good breeze blowing, perfect bunnies busting weather. So red filter on and of we went. We drove no more that 50 yards put the lamp on, at least 20 pair
  11. Not quite what you asked for i load 50grn Nosler BT's 37.5 grn of Varget CCI br Primers Win Brass 2.380 OAL in a Browning A-Bolt Eclipse 22-250 and get 1/2 inch groups all day long, every day
  12. KWG and Anderson charge £25 for paperwork, both not far from you.
  13. Keep it simple its only .22, you dont need the hubble space telescope on top to knock a few bunnies over!! I have a Simmons 3-9x50 on mine set on 9 mag. You dont want to be messing about adjusting mag and focus/parallax, just point and squirt easy.. Your only down the road from me if you to try before you buy just ask.
  14. Popped up a local Estate last night with Rob. They had started lambing 3 days ago so it was time to see if the local fox population had worked this out yet? We arrived early so we could check zeros, because we both had new batches of reloads. A few clicks and we were done both rifles zeroed. We waited until dark and started our patrol. Within the first 20 mins we accounted for a good few rabbits. Until we apporached a very rough piece of land, i think it may have been bombed during the war as its just a mass of craters. When a pair of eyes were spotted pearing out of the closest hole.
