if the dogs been worked properly then its feet and pads etc will be ok to run on dry ground ,big diffrence from hard ground and frost ,to many wait for the so called perfect conditions then wonder why dogs feet are to soft ,walking on the road is ok but there is a big diffrence between walking and running ,keeping them running even if just a few chases a week building them up stops also the dog over hunting as this can lead to the dog bursting up by running to eager ,the joys haha
