  1. Couldn't be further from being a bunny hugger killed about 500 in the last year, surprised you've got time to post being from Somerset, thought you'd be too busy shagging sheep or your sister. So why not try f*****g OFF YOURSELF, you pedantic prick!
  2. where exactly have you taken this from or is it your worded explanation of an actual law? Alex
  3. It has got nothing to do with you either you clowns boot, but it does not stop you coming on here and spouting pure shite . Are you some kind of complete idiot or has your village lost theirs? Of course it has something to with me I made the comment, now it seems yet again you who is spouting shite. So unless you have something to actually add to the discussion f uck off! and boil your brain if you actually have one sitting somewhere in the chasm where one should be. Alex
  4. You are a pest aswell with silly quotes like that, rabbits are deffinetly a pest species and so are Ferals and i will do my best to keep my garden safe from them, i want to put my bird on the lawn bowed without the worry of a feral sneaking over. Easy as most folk think but not really, we can all take measures to make birds safe while housed in enclosures and weatherings BUT out on the lawn is a differant kettle of fish. You childishly quote domestic cats, but how do we know they are domestic until we have caught one after it has killed a thousand pound bird that should of been safe on
  5. well there you go then Alex. you're now telling me you can take the banter! perhaps its time to prove it and show some support for other people opinions in the Hunting fraternity if not I have to ask why are you on here? and if the thread offends you that much why read it? yis Jasp Tony banter is one thing and I can and will take it with the best; however my problem wasn't with the general content of the thread just a few of the comments which could easily be taken the other way whether smiley were added or not. I enjoy this forum more often than not but think this like a few othe
  6. Tony, I will continue to disagree or add to discussion as long as necessary you and others do as you like, not the subject here was Domestic cats not a pest species like foxes or bunnies etc. With that in mind a forum should keep it legal and be seen to keep it as such if I am wrong them tell me why? Surely this like other forums is where much of the information gleaned by antis comes from. As far as surviving on a building site you make me laugh, I spent 26 years in the army and spent a shed load of time in some nasty places on tour which would turn most to tears, so please don't su
  7. Derek, Unless it has escaped you rabbits are a pest species like yourself It is perfectly legal and accepted to kill them unlike DOMESTIC CATS and Peregrines! Alex
  8. Pal, sorry Alex what is the issue with you: do you think it is morally wrong as well as illegal to kill cats or do you think it is wrong to joke about it on a Forum with other usuful comments? Do you agree that wild cats should be culled? Yes Derek, I think as a Hunting forum the member should be seen to be whiter than white, something you especially should do after your problems with AH (DEFRA) the police and the courts. Joking about killing, poisoning, or trapping pet cats could easily give the wrong impression about what we should stand for, but maybe it's only my opinion on that bu
  9. touched a nerve Pal . took the bait hook line and sinker didn't you . Must admit it would be hard to kill cars and a aeroplane! must say though I have never had one sit on top of my aviary roof yet either! can't say I have had a neighbour do it either . think what your saying PAL! you're looking a bit silly now... yis Jasp Tony, Not at all, as far as looking silly think you've done enough of that by you over active support of this thread. Either way makes no difference. As far as what I am saying, if you can't see sense i it then so be it, obviously way to sensible
  10. the guy was jesting alex! thats the point of the smiley face . thats fair point how you would deal with it but this was the the reply I gave to one of your posts which I thought you would have answered . Jesting or not it was a suggestion that could be read either way, it should have been removed! Total Rubbish a cat doesn't neccessarily have to attack your bird to kill it. a cat on the top of a aviary can kill your bird through stress or the bird dieing from injuries crashing about in the aviary. do your homework in the future pal . Jasper The same could be said
  11. The thread addresses a serious issue that could be important to use all however a bit of banter is also welcome. I do not suggest harming cats but I do suggest cat owners keeping their cats in the house like I did when I had cat. If a fox killed my bird as has occurred before I acted to prevent it reoccurring but a cat is manmade threat that can be negated by the owner keeping his cat in the house. Some people are just having a bit of a laugh on this thread which acts to make the thread more entertaining. I know you want to be negative, it goes with the territory of being th
  12. Tin of tuna with rat poison mixed in..... Post 31, is this legal?? As far as your question, how would I deal with it, will tell you if it ever happens but I doubt it would or will. But if it did I wouldn't publish it on a forum for a start. Alex
  13. Stop trying to make a name for yourself by being rightiouse old mate. this is a Hunting forum! its the wrong forum for that. no one on here has mentioned they have killed or harmed anyone's pet! as for feral cats its a different story and need controling. now tell me as a Falconer quite how you would deal with the circumstances should any of your birds be taken off the bow by a cat and you was fortunate enough to catch the cat in the act? advice is one thing! going out and doing it is another.... Jasper Tony, Not trying to make a name or be self righteous, this may be a
  14. Sorry bud cant agree.if you saying a cat instinct is to kill a bird. Then then the same has to apply for a dogs to kill a cat.And a cat will rip open a cage to get to a bird. What we need is the law to treat dogs and cats equily.atb. Catcher. Whether you agree or not, threads like this will only add to the anti's long list of reasons to stop what we do. Also until the law is changed threads like this will only give reasons to hold it as it is. The main point is that anyone who has birds in their garden HAS to take steps to ensure no predator can get to it, if you don't then don't compla
  15. This thread is an absolute disgrace and anyone who advocates the illegal actions of trapping, snaring, poisoning etc on a pet cat whether its in your garden or not should be banned from here (posts 31 and 35 etc). The moderators within this forum who have viewed and ignored some of these posts are also a disgrace (Jasper for example). Derek you should know points of law seeing as you have spent some time being on one side or another of it. If you don't have your garden ground predators proof then don't complain if a cat or otherwise gets in. If you lose a bird that way its your own faul
