  1. sam looks a nic e dog, just a few questions is he ok with kids ? does he wine when he has not got your attention like a bull terrier ? has he been cut or is he still a full dog ? I would have a good home for him he would run with a Lurcher and they would have pups next year. if he is suitableI would be willing to give you £50 if that is ok ? give me a call if you can on 07850 530730 Might be an idea to wait and see if he's good enough to breed out of before you go ahead with it mate. Theres enough on the dog carrousel as it is without any more being added. Hope you get a good hom

  3. I dont know who you have spoken to mate, but I had a long conversation with Paul Mummery our FAO from Leicester today 6/02/09 on the exact same subject. Paul assures me that FOX IS VERMIN, it has no off season, as ground game does and there are people that shoot them with .22 in London gardens and charge £300 a night and quoted a channel 4 program on city fox control . I certainly won't have a problem shootng them with my .17 or .22lr if they are close enough to kill cleanly. Hope that has cleared up all the doubt, and if it says vermin on your licence you can shoot them, at least you can
  4. being as i can only look at rifles atm, i like the look of the cz 'style' (nickle barrel, synthetic stock) looks like it could take a fair bit of outdoor abuse, and being as you all recomend cz's, anyone got a 'style'? Hello mate, I have a CZ style and its very nice and well balanced with a mod fitted. I took two coils off the Trigger spring and that made it lighter, as for the stock and Barrel yes they do look like they will stand the test of time but I have only had mine two months so can not comment . I have two CZ's the .22 style and .17hmr, the HMR is very heavy I wish I had g
  5. Just got back from my super x / eley sub test on my field, I have to say the grouping at 50 yds they both were in or around the center of the target, the eleys were slightly lower. At 100 yds going up two mill dots I was getting three and a half inch groups at spot on height with the winnies but the Eleys were four inches lower and not grouping as well. The conclusion I came to is the winnies suit my cz .22 style and they must have more hitting power as the bump in the shoulder is slightly more and they don't drop anywhere as much as the Eleys. you have to do your own test and come up with you
  6. if the trigger is adjustable then whats the problem, or do the trigger kits inprove the overall feel of the trigger? Being adjustable doesn't turn a bad trigger into a good one, and there is only so much adjustment you can do with any trigger!! The Brooks kit offers a massive transformation!! I have 2 cz. a LR and HMR and went to my local gunshop and asked about a Trigger kit , they said we don't keep them we just cut 3to 4 coils of the spring I said I did not want to do that, but they said there gunsmith does the same. So I went home and done bothe springs and now they are lo

  9. Just sighned up on THL last week, thought I could speak with like minded people about various shooting disiplines. I have owned shot guns since I was a boy on the farm, I am now forty and live in Dunton Bassett south leicestershire. In the last year I have been putting most of my efforts and funds into clay shooting and after buying lots of different guns have settled with a new DT10 which after a lot of shooting have got used to and love. When my certtificate came for renewal last year I had co-Terminous so I could have a rimfire, one of my freinds convinced me to go with the .17 HMR cz
