  1. For all those whingers, complainers and spongers who blame Thatcher for their woes, those who complain they have been out of work for 30 f***ing years and so on. In the words of Brian Blessed: Get a grip you lazy b*****ds
  2. A dead section? You wish... No, unfortunately this section is not dead, unlike a certain facebook page that springs to mind, Anyhow, there is constructive debate and opinion here, there is also drivel and i hate to say it; directed attacks and infiltration by the other side which is supposed to divide us and split us apart, but the sensible folks can see through that. There are also members of our community that have their own agenda, but thats another story. None if it will work!
  3. Fenns are an exellent trap, i am not saying they are not. I do have some issues with bodygripper sytle traps (this is a personal preference i suppose), but certainly would not suggest they are taken away and replaced with something else. The folk that are trying to get extra legislation in place, are the very same people who want to offer training courses for £100 a day. Those that can't do, teach.
  4. There is a difference tween the bodygripper traps, fenns etc and the more expensive tube and kania type traps. The latter produced for a professional who is getting paid to remove a pest. If a customer pays me to rid a squirrel from their loft, they want it done efficiently, effectively and most importantly humanely. They do not want and I cannot afford to have a mis-catch and the resulting hysteria that ultimately unfolds from such a situation. It needs to be clinical, which is why I will use a trap that kills every time, no messing. I know what several folk are getting at in this thr
  5. The spring on a UK version of the wcs tube trap is more than powerful enough to kill any critter which it is approved for. The squirrels which come out of mine are almost in two peices.
  6. Is this the start of "operation clean sweep" ?
  7. I was flicking through a few pages as you do and stumbled upon this: http://www.beekeepingforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=22346 Although i found it highly amusing, long way to go in preaching the word.
  8. Youtube will not let me view the video, probably because it was filmed outside the European Union or some shit.
  9. Too be honest, if someone had a problem with greys in the loft, i dont even think poison would enter my head. But i dont do rats and mice so probably have a different mindset to the general pester. Horses for courses i guess, however, trapping is a serious issue when the outcome could be a squirrel banging about in its death throws, or not so near to its death chewing its way through the ceiling. All very well to say it aint happened yet, till, it happens.... Imagine the scenario of a squirrel caught by a foot in a fenn, desperate to get free, its 3.30 on a friday night and you have had a sk
  10. No one has mentioned the tube trap yet. I think the wcs tube trap is a really good trap, as good as the kania. I would have no issues with setting one in a loft situation. Body grippers and fenns are a definate no go in a domestic loft situation.
  11. Jeez, I thought I was arrogant! I know, I know, I am Probuk is so set in his ways and unwilling to learn it beggars belief. If little green men from mars landed this evening and were asked by world leaders: “why have you come here little green men?” They would respond in unison voice: “We have come to educate probuk (fart gun genie) to the errors of his ways, as he knows not what he doos” “The good people of the shires (we have viewed the lord of the rings communications) have tried in vain to teach him right from wrong but he won’t listen. We are here to make him listen, or, we will smash
  12. He’s just a small time guy trying his best to get by….. He buys the cheapest traps but doesn’t realise their crap He goes on and on and on and on….
  13. Yep, then put him in a nice yorkshire pud and had him for my supper, Mmmmm POP goes the weasel... Just as long as it didn't go to waste or leave a bitter taste in your mouth. Oh I get it. Like humour, but different......... Now your getting it fella....... Do you hear that? That's the sound of no-one caring.
