Nice one Fergie, glad you are doing it the right way.
I have been doing voluntary work at my local bird of prey centre for almost 2 years now. Only now do i feel comfortable with owing a bird of my own.
Its a great way of learning the good and bad points of husbundry.
Great to fly a bird for the day, but remember that birds of prey live for a very long time, anything upto 18 to 20 years in the case of a Harris Hawk.
