  1. You could be right but it`s such a difference in charactor,she never minded being handled and to be honest she was more of a pet than worker(never did very well in the field). Thank`s for the replies folk`s Andy I took in a very lovely jill some yrs ago & she wasnt a problem untill i tried to mix her after a weeks quaranteen , jesus she was evil, went for the throat of any ferret in sight, i would never have believed it if i hadnt seen it, each time i tried she just went in a terrible strop i had to get a broom to get between 2 of them scrapping & screeching Person

  3. Hi, Looking for advice/opinions....... About two months ago a mate took one of my jills into his care as she was getting bullied quite seriously by the rest of the group. She was kept on the same food etc and routine as she is when in my care. Since her return she is nothing short of hostile towards other ferrets( especially Alf and he`s a very easy going fella) and a real problem to handle. She`s not biting but she wont stop wriggling and trying to get away basically. She`s dropped weight and condition but appears to be eating/drinking normally.   5. Hi, Just to say hello and a little about myself. I have been ferreting for approx 10 years and have eleven of the little stinkers at the moment;5 hob`s(one with the `snip`) 6 jills. Did`nt get out much last year(track-time/bike)but plan to get into it seriously from now on. Managed to get permission on 2/3 lots of stable`s and an abbey locally(normally have to travel 20 plus miles to ferret). Been out today clearing/checking holes etc. I`ve been reading with great interest regarding finders etc(never really got on with them myself) especially the loc8tor,ideal i think because the land i have
