  1. Beddy/grey x Beddy/whippet......................best of both worlds
  2. Suzuki DRZ400E 54 plate taxed and tested til october, 3800 miles green lane use only. Fatbars, engine case savers, full alloy sump guard fitted. Also comes with a garmin quest sat nav unit with mount hard wired into electrics and external antenna mounted on front mudguard. Oil changed after every other outing, oil filter changed with every 2nd oil change................religiously!!! Also i'll throw in a single bike trailer which i built myself, strips down into 3 sections for easy storage and has tipping design so no ramp needed. £2000 Lincs
  3. Got a pair of fell boots here i've had for quite a while but never really worn then...........barely broken in. Wear Lowas now so thought someone might want them who'd actually appreciate them £50 posted or do a deal on a MK3m terrier long range collar
  4. Does anyone on here use a mk3 long range deben set up? I've already got a couple of recievers for the ferrets and wondered how the longe range collars worked with them. If they can only be picked up at full range by the standard box or whether i'd have to buy a new reciever or not? I remember the old MK1s were the same boxes with a different sticker on the wheel and that was all but the collars had more battery power to give a stronger signal. Any help would be appreciated
  5. I too was disgusted by the lurcher judge, ok the guy is maybe a respected coursing man but when i took my 4 month old pup in the puppy class just for abit of socialisation he took his last draw on his fag, dropped it on the floor and blew smoke out as he bent down the go over him, not only that but when he asked how old he was he said it wasn't worth entering one so young!! i think i'll be the judge of that!! Saying that well done to John for organising the show with virtually no help from anybody else who would rather sit in the beer tent all day yapping It wasn't a wasted day out as
  6. lost my old dog before christmas last year, cost me £50.......not what i'd call a deer dog :tongue4:
  7. The sooner the better in my opinion, all mine have met the ferrets at 8 weeks old and had no problems My 8 week old pup meeting a feeret for the 1st time
  8. Still got one of those lamps on the shelf but never really use it these days, a good lamp if not abit on the heavy side and quite bulky with a rather annoying clicking switch that needs swapping for something quieter. Nice beam on it though and the blue eye is very good in slightly misty conditions or light rain. didn't know they still made them
  9. I made my own, i saw a few different designs and decided exactl how i wanted to make it then built it around myself, not too wide as be awkward to use and the length of the back not too long as to be uncomfortable to wear. Oh yes i had to make it so it didn't rub on my man-boobs and shaped it to fit around my ever increasing belly
  10. We all have to start somewhere and i bet most on here would have had blank days at some point. Best of luck in future forays
  11. Never hit them, if they do wrong then just scruff them and a quick shake saying no in a growling voice. If they challenge you then pin them down and roar at them..........once should be enough As for sheep........if they show inclination to chase put 'em on a long rope and walk them through them, if the dog wants to chase shout no just before they hit the end of the rope and spin them over, they don't know where it comes from. it worked for me edited to say you can only correct them if you catch them doing wrong, not 2 hours later when you get home
  12. Oh my god, this guy definately told his teacher on all the bold kids at school anyway. HUH??? Only pointing out a small detail you seem to have missed out on
  13. Surely breeding to release is illegal, it's against the law to release a domestic animal into the wild so anything bred in captivity would be classed as domestic
  14. £30 plus £2 p&p I posted one the other day mate, (terrier collar) and it only cost 60p, 70p if youinclude the newspaper and the envelope i put it in wasnt recorded then, i didnt mind paying £2 postage at least if the post office fucks up (and i order a lot of vinyls from spain etc and believe me they f**k up) then we have a tracking code and the items insured up to £35, its £1 to record it so 1.70 it would have been whos going to be picky about 30p? £30s a good deal for a ferret mk 1 collar anyway if you ask me. Good job you never bought one off me then Will,
