  1. Saw lots of unhappy dogs today in the heat! Enjoyed the fly casting demo by Charles Jardine. I think less numbers are attending able to move around site without too much of a crowd in each area. Baggie
  2. If the weather isn't too fierce I will pop over on my Bandit. Baggie
  3. Five heavy duty barred panels one with door. Each panel 1 metre square. £50. Buyer to collect from Stourbridge, Wet Midlands. E- mail hodgetts.john@sky.com for image. Hodge
  4. I recently bought a pro logic max 4 armour jacket in camo. Has integral fleece lined hood and removable fleece liner. I think it would be ideal for warmth when stationary could get a bit too hot on the move as it isn't at all breathable £ 109 from climax tackle. I got mine from Go Outdoors who subsequently matched the climax price and deducted 10%. So far. I am pleased only been fishing and dog walking in it. Will go air rifle shooting in it at the weekend. Hodge
  5. Had both the montane and the buffalo jacket. Not much between them the montane cost more and had the crotch strap. The buffalo doesn't need one. The montane has reinforced patches on elbows. Neither came with hood which is a pain. I think I like the buffalo the best. Hodge
  6. If you can give me your E-mail address I will send you a picture. hodgetts.john@sky.com. John
  7. For sale Air Arms left handed walnut stock to suit a S400. £75 John Hodgetts.
  8. I have a croft 1metre square puppy pen made with bars and a panel to bolt to the top. Heavy duty I used it for my American Bulldog! Contact me on hodgetts.john@sky.com. John Stourbridge
  9. Yeti gaiters are good but you need to have a very stiff sole for them to stay in place. Mine are superglued to a pair of plastic mountaineering boots that are not suitable for anything other than mountain walking. In terms of fitting I would take the boots to one of the following Cotswold camping, Field and Trek or Taunton Leisure which have stores around the UK. They also do mail order but I would phone in advance and seek their opinion on what model would be compatable with the make and size of boot. I have always found cordura material as being the best, it is what motorcycle jackets are m
  10. I have tried a variety of wellies over the years. However, my problem is that wellies are too flexible in the sole and this has caused instep problems for me. Have yet to find a stiff soled wellie! I have resorted to rigger boots, Le Chameau Vatna and the Muck ankle boots which have the stiffest sole that I have found. Do any of you have any recommendations for a stiff soled calf length wellie? Baggie.
  11. I bought a HW 95 in April and I use it for HFT. I am really pleased with it. I considered a HW97 but it was heavier the 95 suits me. It may be the other way round for other people.
