  1. Getting permission aint easy, it took me 6 months of asking the right people. As previously stated use your manners, dress in an uncomplicated way and show that you know what you are talking about and you are in with a chance however small. I now have permission in 3 areas in the Leeds/Wakefield area, and when you do get permission this is how you feel
  2. I'm not a moaner. Nor, after over 40yrs of shooting, currently with access to 5 farms, am I an armchair shooter. And I am not going to waste my time exchanging moronic insults BUT.......What concerns me greatly and should be of concern to all of us is posts which imply that we are not responsible in our approach and attitude to our sport. You seem unable to see that this does nothing but feed the anti airgun lobby which, if you keep your eyes on the press, is increasing. Certainly the Scottish Parliament wish to ban airguns in Scotland. And the press are fed by mindless morons who shoot at

    new gun

Already been said, it depends on what you can spend and what you want your rifle for. I have two rifles, both pcp the hw100t in.177 and hw100ks in .22 both at 11.5ft/lb. I have tried many rifles but none to beat the hw100. Then you have to look at the cost, you will need filling gear and somewhere where you can get the air tank filled.A good second hand hw100t will cost you anything over £400, a second hand Bottle £60, it all adds up so choose well. But if you have the cash you cannot go wrong with any of the hw100 range, the hw100ks is brilliant for hunting being shorter lighter maybe one
  6. I now own two rifles hw100t .177 + map pro scopes ---- hw100ks .22 + BSA esential hunting scopes.

  8. Today I picked up my new hw100ks .22. She is a real beauty, with a stock that can only be called blond walnut (if it is walnut) with absolute gorgeous graining on it. Got some BSA scopes and high mounts, the bag, and 1000 pellets were thrown in as part of the deal. I have the hw100t in .177 which is a great first class piece of kit, the hw100ks is slightly smaller and lighter and I am told that you do not get as many shots per fill (but I can put up with that). So I get Home and the phone is ringing, who is it, but only one of the biggest farmland owners in West Yorkshire to tell me that I h
