  1. You should check the COL seating depth which is right for your rifle and not just go by the book (except for max loads of course) Reloading manuals usually give you tips on how to check COL for your rifle. If not, shout and someone on here will help. This should further increase the accuracy. Different ballistic tip bullet heads are different lengths. Hornady are shorter than Speer for instance.
  2. Not coming South for a while, selling due to buying a dedicated night scope.
  3. Sorry, the price is the price, no offers, It's well worth the cash and is actually quite a bargain, new tube, body and glass as new condition, just the illuminators of this quality are about £250.00 and no friends in the South. or the North... or the East... or the West...........
  4. Falconers needed for bird control work in Preston, Manchester, Macclesfield areas. Long contracts, good rates of pay, full or part time, immediate start date.
  5. Longwing fliers needed for bird control work in Preston, manchester, macclesfield areas. Long contracts, good rates of pay, full time or part time available now.
  6. C tube. B'S and D's aren't always bettter or worse. Had the pick of a few and just went for the brightest. Use a laser illuminator. Penlight size. I use pvs 7 d night vision binoculars fwith a 3 times mag for scanning. You can use the monocular as it gives a greater field of vision than when on the rifle. Plus as you know, not a good idea to be scanning with your rifle. Takes 5 seconds to get it on and off the rifle even inthe dark. Only need to adjust the focus to infinity when putting it back on, less than 5 seconds. Fox eyes off the rifle probably 300 yds with a laser illuminator Fox e
  7. Starlight Archer night vision monocular/scope for sale. Scope is 10 months old but has brand new tube.- the important bit. New generation 3 grade C tube fitted in March by Julian of Starlight, comes with case, scope mount and various bushes to fit scopes. will fit most scopes. I use it on a Leupold, schmidt and Bender and a Swarovski. I use it on a 17 hmr for rabbits, 223 and a 22.250 for foxes. As new condition, also included is a dedicated screw on illuminator. Will take rabbits out to 220 yds, foxes out to 300. This is not shooting at the eyes, target is clearly defined. This scope can b

Get your bird really fit in the first year, as much hunting as possible, then put it away in an aviary, feed lots of quail and rabbit, and it will be fine the following season. Basically, if you get it fit it will stay fit, if you don't then it won't. The more work you put in the more performance you will get. Don't
  11. What a great idea, pay out that much money for a grade C archer and then have to play blue peter to make bushes out of cardboard. Glad you liked the idea mole catcher. Bushes for certain scopes are sometimes hard to get, and I would rather make something that fits perfectly than piss around with something that isn't right. I've got a plastic bush for the 17 and made bushes for the 223 and 22250 and there is no difference between them apart from the cost and time taken to get it. Blue peter mode was fastter. Glad to see sarcasm is still going strong in England.

  13. Bit of disbelief there Bry? more than welcome to come out and see for yourself. Have a nice weekend.
  14. Starlight Archer is great value for money. Versatile, fits all scopes, takes rabbits to 220 yds with laser illuminator. Used it on 17 hmr 223 and 22.250. Have the option of buying stuff from the states but Archer can't be beaten for the price, backup, and versatility.
