  1. Oops Thanks. I'm looking for £750ono And I am in Surrey
  2. I have my .243 Steyr Mannlicher Prohunter 2 for sale. It has fired around 100 rounds. It is in very good condition, the only marks on it a few light scratches wear the bipod attached. I bought it new and shot it in properly with regular cleaning. Included with rifle is the Stealth 10 moderator and the Warne bases and 30mm rings. Th rifle shoots sub 1" groups at 100yards being fed factory bullets. Any inspection welcome. Please PM for details. Thanks Richard.
  3. Hi, Haven't been on here for years, used to be on here for lurchers but as a keeper now i've slid towards foxing, lurcher retrieves them though. Anyway, Thought I'd add my count.......168 picked up......If you can't sex them you can't count them! Could be on 200 though if I remembered how many weren't found.
  4. strong stuff very glad i am too, thank you!! theres several people saying they are gonna buy something slip leads etc and i want to sets of couples and a slip. hopefully in a couple of years there will be those scuries etc back, i'd love to get them all going again.
  5. yeah i think its the place you mean no scurry at this show but there will be racing yeah turn up on the day and enter just be there a while before judging (12 o'clock)
  6. its normally a qualifier and it will be next year but unfortunately not this year........i'm helping to organise it this year but doing the lot next year so i'll make sure the boats not missed for next year. Even if you don't work dogs then its still a fun afternoon.....and there is companion dog show as well

  8. Surrey Union Hunt are hosting a hound, terrier and lurcher show at the kennels near Dorking It is being held on the Sunday 7th June, classes for all terriers and lurchers as well as companion dogs, so everyone can have a go to win a rosette. Theres a few merchandise stalls and BBQ but most importantly a BAR. Gates at 10am And judging starts at 12 o'clock Come along and help support hunting and meet like minded people. It is held just off the A29 by Ockley and is well sign posted from the main road(A29)
  9. That dog of dave c's looks a hell of a nice dog....If i could get the space i'd be interested in a pup of yours to his!!!
  10. yeah fair play to him for speaking out for what he believes.......He'd make a more valid point though if he stopped undermining himself with the creation theory!!! evolution= evidence
  11. what is it that determines focus speed the lense or the body?
  12. cheap as possible really but don't want to buy something i'm not gonna want in the end! I was looking at D70, D80, D200, Canon 450d, 350d etc prob second hand What fps rate is enough for running dogs and flying birds? what else do i need to look at?
  13. I'm upgrading from a hybrid fujifilm(if it doesn't dry out) to a DSLR but which to go for? I want to mainly take pictures of wildlife so mainly moving and my lurcher, with the odd landscape and other but mainly wildlife standing, flying and lurchers running What camera should I get? Please leave out most of the gobbledy gook....and give make and models Thank you all for helping
  14. I only lamp by myself and the few times people have come out i still carry the lamp and shoot. I have no problems with wires or tangles while walking and no problems from the land rovers on my own either Get a bipod when you see foxy un fold legs to kneeling/sitting height bring lamp up between legs steadying the lamp on 1 leg with thumb and that way you can point lamp on or off fox gun is safe and steady and never glare he scope I use a clulite great because its longer than you can shoot and has he small bulb for gates etc
  15. we used them at bisley to rest the rifle barrel between shooters and if you needed to put the rifle down while setting up but not for shooting off
