  1. theres nothing wrong with hv rounds but the rifle does make a considerable difference my cz brno is magnificent with subs i use winnies but is no use with hv of any brand but my bsa martini is at home with both slightly higher twist rate i think keeps them more stable. engineer
  2. i use a mamba lite on a bsa martini but i also have a bushnell legend which is far superor on my cz american unless you must have a side wheel, and the legend has been reintroduced by popular demand which tells a story on its own. engineer
  3. hi light force good ucaller same thing much cheaper used one now for some while heres the link www.gunmart.net/accessories_review/ucaller_night-eye_lamping_kit/ plus you can use this controller for a dimmer much better than the deben offering as it is digitally controlled www.virtualvillage.co.uk/12v-15a-pwm-dc-motor-speed-control-reg hope this is helpfull engineer
  4. i have a pint one which is the smallest when out on my own and the pint and a half when two of us out both boil really quickly extra water is no prob just keep topping them up usefull tip collect fuel on this trip for the next one dry it keep in bag makes for easy lighting engineer
  5. i run a .222 cz it must be good its a cz fox seriously though very smooth shooting very accurate and not to expensive to feed engineer :)
  6. i have had one for ages and i have silenced and normal barrels they simply are great tools never jam and are generall well built, and the three in carts can hold there own pigeon bashing with just about anything else so long as you do your bit, more often than not i pick up the little pump just brings a hugh grin when you knock down good birds with the little calibre, i also hand load which helps with cost also better shot selection this way. engineer :)
  7. as above 6 3/4 overall 3 1/4 in blade double sided some pitting toboth side of blade worst side is shown hardwood handlebrass fittings carbon blade no sheath £12=00 including post and packaging engineer
  8. bowie knife byschur inc. of japan carbon steel blade stag handle on full tang knife no. 9071 axe and sheold motif on recerse of blade stag motif on sheath 11 1/2 ins long blade 7in £30=00 including post and packaging engineer
  9. bowie knife by j nowill and sons carbon steel blade stag handle on full tang leather sheath 11 1/2 ins overall 7 in blade £35=00 including post and packaging engineer
  10. interesting post, one or two points i`d like to make firstly .410 has one of the highest chamber pressures like for like of any bore hense it tends to fly a bit quicker so knock down is good, but there is less lead than larger bores so use smaller shot i typicely use 7.5 for pigeon full choke fibre wad great pattern at 35yds, if you do your bit they will come down one last thing if using magnum carts the shot string is very long which means you have to be accurate with lineup but lead is not quite so important, but a really good calibre great when you get the eye in . engineer
  11. i have a 1600 GV very capable off road especially the short wheel base three door version they have just as much ground clearance as for instance a disco as the wheels are 16 in, good strong box section chassis and proper low range gearbox, dont buy the expensive goodrich go for the colway tyre with the same pattern £40=00 each fitted. engineer
  12. please dont take this the wrong way but if you get down to sensible price i will be interested engineer
  13. i use the colway version of they are remoulds but meet all european standards i have them on my vitara and the disco under 40 quid a go last for ages engineer
  14. ive got a classsic in .177 and a tdr i have converted to .177 both truly exellent rifles. engineer :)
  15. personally i wouldnt buy a new air arms or any other major manufactures offerings as they are all now fitted with anti tamper devices, aa have used twist of headed bolts in the assembly of there rifles personally i`d go for good seconhand pre anti tamper. engineer :)
