We are having problems just now with mange, the biggest problem being we can't buy anything really good without going to the vet. I am sure the dogs have picked it up from foxes, which are passing through our land. Wouldn't mind if it was only the one dog, but we have sixteen. I have heard the treatment for human scabies works. Is there something you can bulk buy. The only adverts I see for BB are from rescue sites for foxes who will send you one lot for free. Why is it that you can get stuff to treat vermin for free but when it comes down to working dogs you have to pay through the nose.

What about going for the mix and getting a Sprocker, my mate has two, tons of energy and can work all day.

Hi All, I just found this site this evening, so thought I'd better introduce myself properly. I like working with hounds, lurchers, spaniels and border terriers. I am lucky enough to be friendly with a retired gamekeeper who has forgot more than I will ever learn. He has shown me how to fly harris hawks and work with owls. It is good to find so many like minded people putting their views forward without the yoghurt knitters or the PC Brigade censoring the posts.
