  1. Brightmoor Bred Dog

We are basing some of these assumptions on a book written by pinnochio himself mind .Dont surprise me there are contradictions within it .
  2. ruminations and ramblings

Done too much ,much too young ,now it's only good for rattlng, right pain in the bum .
  3. ruminations and ramblings

My thoughts exactly mate .One thing the internet does do is let those aspiring to the job know how other more patient men start youngsters .I've never been a rush type but I've known many who were in times gone by .Recent years has seen a more chilled approach for sure and long may it live .
  4. Brightmoor Bred Dog

    Cheers Neil.
  5. flir scout tk

The flir is very basic compared to say pulsar stuff .Been out with several types on demo and the pulsar line is by far the best if a bit pricey .Try one mate or you may regret it seeing another type .Takes a bit of getting used to especially hares mistaken for other animals .But once is my moto .
  6. Rabbit skin

What you will produce will be ripped to shreds mate with any scent long gone .Better off using a fresh carcass or hunt naturally. Look up brain tanning if your set on it .
  7. Brightmoor Bred Dog

Followed the 3 Nuttals bitches I was gifted mate .First dog I owned as opposed to a bitch and a great worker .He was a devil with other dogs and had to be watched when off the lead .
  8. Brightmoor Bred Dog

Thanks mate . Bit further back than I have so glad I asked . The Ulswater dog , if anyone is interested was called Rusty if all checks out ., bred by R Tomlinson . . The name Davey then reappears with Wheeler , the sire of my old Razor dog which I got direct from Derek many years back . Wheelers Davey was described as being 1/2 cross to 1/2 cross , the mix being bull and black terrier . Razor was as bully as a terrier gets .
  9. Brightmoor Bred Dog

Dont have the book mate .He' was mentioned in the ped I got from Wheeler but no further back and I'd just like to know a bit more if the infos out there .
  10. Brightmoor Bred Dog

Do you recall a dog named Davey or Black Davey in either ped mate .pm if preder .
  11. Brightmoor Bred Dog

The generation we now like to name terrier types as, ie Wheeler ,Nuttal definitely put the bull in and one can only surmise to improve something lacking inherited from the the two supposed founders . As for blacks throwing other colors ,in 35 years ive never seen anything but black with a small white blaze occasionally but then again nothing else has gone in .Those that say their line throws whites etc to my mind do so because of infusion or because someone hasn' told the truth concerning lineage .Makes no odds just saying .Nobody else I know or respect has thrown a color either .Strange that aint it .
  12. Big Cat Spotters etc .

Talking a good yarn is equally as numbing with no backup to speak of .Why don't we let it lie until a pic is available ,time stamped ,taken in UK, then we will listen .Bollocks from either side from where I'm sitting with no forward momentom . If they are out there mate ,your the kiddy to find it so relax ,chill and go find one .
  13. Wonder if a raghead would rather his throat cut whilst stunned or not. Makes no odds to me mind.
