agree if you enter to quarry with out all the training done you will have no controll when the exitment is with the rabbit and not you. i would get breaking to ferrets and start this way as a rabbit in a net will boost confedence and is a much more controlled enviroment for you both to learn

rabbit numbers are up my way too think this years ferreting is going to be good

remember to still engage it i would just play for a while wouldnt put a period of time on it would judge from watching the dog

try putting a skin around some thing she can tug. get her into the game before adding the skin when she is into it play with her all of a sudden let go a run backwards making stupid noises hold in out your hands. if your lucky she may try to re initiate the game of tug and retrieve it to hand un knowingly kf she does make a fuss and play. do this over and over on seperate ocations stopping when she is enjoying herself and left wanting more
