It's really sad that in name of a great trade or business purposes as well fashion, an entire tradition vanishes out, I currently watched prices for Schnauzers and in fact, they are very expensive, 1000-1300 EUR.

Why aren't Schnauzers anymore introduced for ratting purposes? I had a Schnauzer in the past and her instincts were really intense, my mother had a book about Schnauzers and in their history, they were used for ratting purposes in Germany, but now when I see ratting videos in Youtube, I see other Terriers but not Schnauzers. So far I know, it exist miniature Schnauzer, medium and giant Schnauzers and the medium-sized Schnauzer was used for ratting.
