  1. Only just seen this! Would've come down, unfortunately I'm back to work tomorrow
  2. One of my perms has pretty much been wiped out with it this year. But 20 miles away and not a hint of it. South Northampshire
  3. I'm going tomorrow mate, hoping it'll be a good one!
  4. tommytucker17 Full of random shooting/dog photos!
  5. Have just got a new permission of about 180 acres, mixed arable/livestock but also a pick your own fruit farm. Rabbits causing mayhem with young plants, went for a bit of a mooch with my brother, 2 stinkers and the mutt. Had a few from a couple of small warrens, then a short dig for 2 in a stop end. Then we moved up to a the top field to field a nice open warren with possible 20-30 holes, netted as much as possible, hoped for the best, dog accounted for a few unnetted holes. So much young about, unreal, shouldn't be like this at this time of the year! All in all a good day, dog was brill
  6. It's easy enough to to brew tbh mate, just leave it in the corner for 6-8weeks. Hers the recipe for any one who interested! Boil 4 jars of honey with 3 litres of water, one tea bag (for the tannin ),half a lemon (for the citric acid )spoon any scum off that comes to the surface ( it's wax residue from the honeycomb )once boiled for about 5 minutes allow to cool till just warm put in a sterilised container add tsp yeast put the bubbler on with water in and leave to do its thing When it starts to slow down after a week or two, top it up with about a litre of Apple juice, helps to sweeten
  7. Had a phone call fro. The farmer about some rabbits occupying an old warren tats been empty for a few years. We popped down to have a look with the ferrets, then after netting up realised the bloody battery was flat in the finder, so had to pack up, then go for a drive to get a battery. Got it all sorted, set up again, sent Stumpy in, bolted 1 after pushing it around for a good 10 mins, only to find it in the early stages of mixy! Next one to bolt was a big buck, then a youngster that slipped out the edge of the net. We were lose light and it began to rain, so the next time the ferret showed
  8. Just bottle this batch, it's turned out pretty nice tbh! Got 6 bottles out so that'll do for a while. Gunna get another load on the go, and probably gunna do some some fruity wine, any suggestions??
  9. I'm a mechanic/MOT tester, although who knows what the future will bring!
  10. Aye, got my full bike license when I was 17, back when the rules were 33bhp for 2 years had it nearly four years now. Best thing you'll do!
  11. Looks like a good day out! Thanks Tom
  12. I didn't think it was too bad to be honest, it's a bit less than normal but still a result! She's a good little dog, need get her broken to the ferrets properly and she'll make a good rabbiting dog
