All forms of shooting, recently got back into Air rifles and Pistols. Formally a member of the Derbyshire Small and Full Bore shooting teams also a former Marksmanship Instructor in the Army Cadets again both Small and Full Bore. Only ever had one permission but searching for more. Also into fishing, everything from course to Carp to Fly fishing for Trout.
  1. Just recently back into Air rifles i bought a second hand MK1 TX200 for just under £200 , great gun needs a little tlc but again its AIR ARMS and worth refurbishing, cant beat an underlever in second hand guise with the barrel being fixed.
  2. As you shot your rifles your obviously acustomed to how it groups, if its fine keep going, and at the first sign of group size or accuracy drop pull it through. then after pull through fire approx 50 pellts to relead the barrel. then check Zero.
  3. Avoid the tax man and accept gifts of some sort....hopefully liquid in nature haha
  4. Just a thought, fins a local club to join, HFT type shooting (Hunter field Target) you will find shooters as varied as the rifles they use. Not many of them would refuse a fellow shooter a go with their pride and joy, use this to gain knwledge of tx200's HW97 etc and plan your finances accordingly, i recently purchased a mk1 TX200 of a group on Facebook selling Air rifles and hunting gear. Hope that helps
  5. As with Coypu Hunters post the VHTV youtube series goes into alot of rifle testing, and yes i want them all !! damn the lottery hating my six numbers !
  6. Cracking Channel, thanks for the find, All i have to do now is sit the missus down in front of it to watch hahaha
  7. Go through all the trouble for an FAC then buy an Air Rifle ! sounds like a lot of backache , im sure the cost of a Ruger 10/20 is far cheaper than any decent FAC Air rifle. just my thoughts, at the end of the day its your decision, make your choice and be happy with it, Good Shooting
  8. Looks like the lad has started to group well, hope he keeps it up
