  1. I've worked Russell's and pats mate , but I've always had my eye on this breed, I like a good working bedlington aswell , Neva owned one but Im going to keep my eye out for one
  2. Here are my two Slovakian imports , both working very well together ....
  3. Small little type ain't she did you do any digging with her when she was younger ? How olds the lurcher how does he work ?
  4. Thanks for explaining demented im not 100% sure how to upload pictures myself in not sure how to downsize them but u explained well thanks ! Hope it helped Keaner and thanks I'll probly see this season out with her and when she's 3 I will put her across my oldest dog , both work very well together , see if you can get some pictures up of your dogs Keaner
  5. I'd Neva heard of or seen a Manchester terrier Neal I just had a look and they do look quite alike in the face shape and colour Are the Manchester terriers working dogs and what would they be used for ?
  6. That's a funny coincidence...I was just showing my son the photos on this thread and he was saying they looked like my tiny black and tan kelpie (she looks like a Manchester terrier cross) then I read your comment...sounds like they have a similar character too! Shape-wise they bring to mind the smooth fox terrier I remember from my youth in the 70s. Neal they are originally bred from fox terriers if you click on this link and it should tell you about the history of the breed and how it came about https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jagdterrier
  7. My new bitch ula! , two year old , from Slovakia just got her today ?
  8. This is edi when he was a little younger ....... Photo didn't load up on previous post
  9. Pup in his new run he loves it ( not !!! ) Edi chillin in the sun
  10. Keaner the dog I have at the moment has been worked on everything in Slovakia mostly wild boar so he has a very good nose ,I use him for flushing rabbits and hair and other things, mostly use him for digging, no problem with the size of him when it comes to earth work . He's 35cm to the shoulder and fits most places, very strong dog and quite tuff , not overly hard and aggressive like I initially read up about them before I bought one, he's quite a clever dog , mite of came with his age , soon see when this dog pup is old enough to work, what dogs do you work ?
  11. Hi dymented , yeah I've found that they have exceptional noses, I have to keep a locator collor on him at all times when walking, I bought edi the 7 year old all ready working 110%,he's not broken to livestock though so I have to be careful where I leave him off, where do you dogs come from ? What work do you do with them ?
