Credit to the lad who started the thread for being honest. Seems like he's using terriers for ratting and rabbiting and looking for a stud dog with nose, drive and a healthy constitution. Not making do with one of the many show/pet Bedlingtons available at public stud on the pets4homes type sites that are a sorry excuse for a terrier. Any work is better than no work.5 points

Lol reason you wont' own a black dog is because that means digging which I'm sure aint your forte .You talk some shite when it comes to terriers mate but still, it keeps another messer away from the black dogs .You keep on with the poodles and leave the real stuff alone .5 points

You'd do better to wait 'til someone chooses parents carefully and breeds a litter for their own use. Having said that, the best collie/grey I've ever had was bred by a greyhound breeder when a good bitch came back from being lined and was covered again by the farm collie. The litter had both pure greyhounds and first crosses. Many good litters will have a touch of some other breed in there and if the parents did what you want then what harm? Good luck with your search anyway, I'm sure something will turn up.4 points

You experts could have captured this so much better than I. Chiffchaff or Willow Warbler ?? there was a pair flapping their wings then got together for a hump in seconds. Cheers Arry4 points

Saluki grey x collie lion seem to instinctively go for the neck every time ... the only downfall is you have to let them eat what they want before you can pick up the carcass .......3 points

Some decent points but a few I do t agree with after 35 , without the use of steroids you will never acheive what you could have at 25 sorry bit that’s a fact in my twenties I would run 3 -4 times a week, and at pace. My body physically cannot do that now , no chance, I don’t have those gears anymore at all. I used to run ?? n a Saturday as a pre cursor to going out with the last mile at a serious pace. That level is gone , if you can find a safe inner city run , incline preffered, Work those street lights , sprint two, jogbthree, recover one , repeat ad finitu3 points

I know Vic has a bounty, A$10 per fox & A$120 per dog. Just make sure you get all the bits of the dog that you need. The parts are given to the relevant department and payment is made but you dont get to keep anything. It is not that un-common for shot animals to be transported innumbers from one place to another for a higher reward - I cant think why ?? LOL 40 years ago fox pelts fetched up to A$120 each but more common A$20 - 40, all for export to Europe. On a good night with a lot of fox on the land a shooter could make A LOT of money with 20 - 40 fox shot, but you had to be v3 points

Forget any silly methods using electric or lamps. There is only one way. A whipper in and exercise among deer regularly. Don't fck it up using old wives tales or they will be spoiled forever.3 points

I had my Pro Sport .22 tuned with a Tinbum drop in kit and fettled internals by Tim/Charlie Caller here. He has done a fantastic job for me and my Pro Sport is a dream to shoot. It feels a bit more refined than it did out of the box for sure. But it was a blistering accurate rifle to begin with. Tuning may not vastly improve the accuracy of the barrel but, from my experience, adding the the TBT kit has made my rifle that much nicer and more consistent a rifle that is beautifully smooth and satisfying to shoot with. Certainly, no regrets for having it tuned like this.3 points

Most of the ones I see look like they're going to keel over at any second ! All red in the face, huffing and puffing - I thought it was mean from be good for you ! My doctor told me I should take up something that's not too exerting, but got me mildly out of breath on a regular basis.............so I started smoking again !3 points

Your fitness will soon come back mate you just need to work at it. As you have done a lot when you were younger it’s in you somewhere it just needs bringing back out. Join a local running club and go in the walk to run groups to start with then work your way up. You’ve got plenty of years of good running left in you yet mate a good 10 years or perhaps more before things may start to slow down a little for you at club level depending on how much you want to push yourself. Gps watches are cheap as chips these days they are a great help to keep a good eye on things.2 points
