Be no nuclear war. I even doubt western cities would even be bombed. Possibly ships .troops planes Imo the war against the general public would be of disruption hacking cyber war I think they refer to it Who knows what smart stuff they have that will only be used in a war. Pretty much we rely on technology to get our food delivered get to work banking hospitals prescriptions. In olden days we bombed the cities to break the will of the people and wear them down. These days I've seen folk close to a break down cause they can't get onto Facebook lol9 points

I don't know if this exists and I can't find it on THL or if has been done before and was not popular. But the idea of this thread is for people to submit their own art, drawn or painted by the individual rather than purchased. A few days ago I saw a very nice drawing in the Lurcher section but I forgot exactly where and now cannot find it. Maybe there could be a place where our own art could be placed? Not for critique or ego, merely to share. I have know a few people who have drawn and painted yet keep it to themselves as a kind of dirty secret. Not sure why. I have always loved a5 points

Check zero, then down to the nursery for some pest control. I`m well in control of the numbers on here now. The HW 100 KT .177 proved deadly accurate . Check zero. Nice woody retrieve. Rabbit retrieve. The rest of the bag, two nice large rabbits, one juicy squirrel, one plump woody. Shot very accurately. atb Mark.5 points

Went to some permission this morning about 45 mins drive from home, all greenhouses, (salad farm). Got 1 rabbit in one of the disused greenhouse but got a new permission nearby, seen plenty when i walked round, they all made a dash for a massive warren, should be a decent place5 points

One of my best mates has got a bitch whos 10 yr old now bred this way she's around 28-29" and if I'm honest she's probably one of the best Lurchers I've seen. Her forte was definitely hares considering her size she turns on a sixpence and has a great strike on her. Unfortunately my mates back is in a terrible state he's not far off being in a wheelchair sadly, he's been a lurcherman all his life to see him struggling to walk is a sad sight. I learned not just lurcher work from him but pretty much all I know about the countryside it's animals and flora and forna.5 points

Every government from day one has been fcuking its own people over. Give the plebs just enough to keep them docile and if it looks like they're on to us throw a distraction in. If they're concentrating on elsewhere they're leaving us alone. Now with the internet people are better informed and have more connection with each other. Fifty years ago you didn't know what was happening in the next village, never mind another country. The internet must be a total piss off for the powers that be, the masses have access to too much info now and when you now realise the level of3 points

Mine is a Jagdterrier x Whippet. One of the nicest dogs I've ever had. I sold him because he didn't tree and much of our game is tree game (coons, squirrels, bobcat , grey fox, bear). I was so impressed with him, I'm making a similar cross this Spring. I'm using a great all around Jagdterrier that is a great locating tree dog, retrieves, is a very good track dog and plenty hard. I'll be putting that dog over a fast, smart and very well built staghound female. I think I could use the size, but it's the natural tree dog that I'm really after. I'll post some pics. and stories when the time3 points

The Deerhound/Greyhound/Collie combination is a real favorite of mine... I've bred and used them in the past,..never had a problem with them picking up rabbits... Obviously, you want them out early,.14 weeks or so,.wandering around the warrens and learning to negotiate ditches, woodland brash, etc,..and let them learn how to work their quarry,..use their gears,..and agility... If you allow big dogs to turn into stiff old straight liners,..they will do so... Nice hybrids, .. it is all over for me now, but I've still got great memories of walking by night with them...3 points
