I've had plenty of youngsters that want more room than they need in their first season, it'll come right with experience.7 points

Well I had my first time out with the BSA ultra this evening, It was a bit windy and cold but fun. 1st pic was my seat, 2nd pic was my view, 3rd pic my one and only shot also seen the biggest rabbit I've ever seen in the field next to me, but he seen me when I tried to maneuver for a shot on it.6 points

Thanks again folks, she was pts this afternoon and despite it being heart wrenching decision i am comfortable it was for the best. i have not long lost my grandad and he didn't half suffer towards the end, he told me more than once before he passed that no dog would be made to suffer like he was and he was a tough bugger. He along with my old man is the reason I love running dogs and terriers. Share One story that sticks out and makes me smile when I think about Molly, I was lucky enough to take her to work a fair bit with me during my time in the raf, she came to work at the gym with me one5 points

As you all probably know, Si bought a new .177 hw99s a few weeks back and gave it his famous fettle, I will let him comment on what was done as he's far more in the know than I am. After a few conversations Si asked me for my address and said the hw was heading to Anglesey for me to have a play with and it arrived last night (much to my delight!!!!). What can I say. We all know of the potential of these rifles as we've all read about the Imp and what it can do so i was looking forward to some target practice today. After a quick job this morning I got in and put a cheap and che4 points

Hey Guy’s, I went to a new property today that only holds a few , had a great day out , we didn’t catch many, only bolted a few, but the weather was fantastic, and I got the opportunity to meet Bryce, and his son Aden. Aden was keen to learn, and before today had never handled a ferret, he was like a duck to water. It was very rewarding, to be able to pass on some knowledge, and watch this young man enjoying the day. It’s definitely not about numbers on days like this. It was one of the best days I have had in awhile. Will post a video in the coming days4 points

The NHS needs a huge shake up IMO, I think you're a nurse Sandymere? So it stands to reason that you will defend the NHS/your career above all else... but from the other side of the fence (and I've said this many times on here) the NHS as it is does not work, we have seen hell of a lot over the last 7 years or so of my wife's illness, and some has been shocking! im sure if the the NHS was ran as a business in the true sense of the word then the accountability for waste, bad management, and poor end results would result in a far slicker service.. i love the ideology of the NHS a3 points

No problem to do such crosses but the dogs must be top quality and condition otherwise your just adding to the rubbish pile. don't be selfish if your bitch is mediocre don't breed rubbish and unless the dog is mustard don't let it mount the bitch. IMO your dogs must be truly exceptional to breed and never breed your bitch unless your prepared to lose some of her ability. some bitches never run the same again after breeding. recovery sometimes is limited.3 points

You should know as well as I do that banning "intensive rearing of game birds" is a not so ambiguous way of saying they're gonna ban game farming on any scale above the small DIY level. It's not hard to speculate when the minister in charge will be a rabid anti & vegan! How many keepers alone do you think will now be out of a career? I don't think many are of the delusion anymore that hunting will be legalised. What's a bit more concerning is that they want to 'close loopholes' which is another not so ambiguous way of saying they intend to end it properly. We should all be dead g2 points

I heard it ....for most Vanessa was trying the usual guff but the main emphasis seemed to be on damage and intimidation of farms and farmers and decline of the hare ....the last caller was brilliant and pointed out that when coursing was legal it was regulated by coursing clubs who also had keepers to keep undesirables of the land and manage hare population to which Vanessa promptly cut him of .... she wouldent want the truth getting in the way now would she2 points

Pilot area near me for vaccines, they get two on Friday and vacinate and chip them then knock down the snares for the weekend, , go back Monday to reset them when farmer comes over and says I saw some of the snares were knocked down so I reset them and got two badgers for you on Sunday, there in a sack in the shed, he didn't know about vaccine programs so shot them and of course when checked for chips he'd only gone and shot the same two vaccinated and chipped badgers.2 points

My RFD has one of these very pretty little Ultras in stock and yes they are very very nice but a laminated stock and shrouded barrel with mod has a price tag at £725 which to me is just too much no matter how cute the gun is. Phil2 points
