Moved over to england 8 months, and i didnt expect to be getting into the greyhounds, but i did, went over within id say the 1st few months off being there i got a dog, called him billy, so all was going good racing him when i could but then one night came when he got to the 1st bend and Snap the leg went to make things worse he then pulled off to the side and his leg went down the hare rail he ended getting put to sleep, i was upset being my 1st greyhound and all, at 1st i thought to myself do i want this to happen to every dog i get, and i was going off the idea off getting anymore, but i didnt let it stop me i was to well into it by now. so iv now got myself a lovely wee pup Called her Belle, hopefully shes go round the track and win a few races. :)

Sorry to hear about your dog, had greyhounds myself and its awful experience when one gets hurt on the track, but touch wood a serious injury is a rare thing, best of luck with your new pup hope she gives you many years of fun and wins the odd race.
