If anyone knows of people getting rid of retired racers or lurchers who work/with potential to work, I'd be interested.

I know I can go through the rescue option, but God forbid you mention you want the dog to work, your name would be sent to every rescue in the country for cruelty to animals! Plus I don't like their attitude, or homechecks.

Dog would be living outside a lot, but would be allowed in. Would have another dog for company outside.
Gettin the garden sorted and stones put down, ts a mucky mess right now, so wouldn't be able to get a dog for a few weeks. (probably longer, knowing my family and the speed at which things get done!)

Would preferably like a dog who's cat friendly, but not necessary.

I'll probably post this on the lucher section too.

So anyway, if you know of any greys/lurchers in Ireland lookin for homes, lemme know! If not I'll scan the pounds.

Cheers.
