I want to delete that stupid shout box gets in the way .How do I do it Grrrrrrrrr.

Click on preferences, then tick/untick the box that says 'Display global shoutbox' ;)

i just done it click on shout box another screen comes up click on shout box again another screen scrool down my prefs button then click the no shout click save and it worked fo me

You can hide it by clicking on the up arrow in the top right of the box, click it again and it will come back down.

Thanks for the info on getting rid of the shout box,I have already mentioned it in another post. Hope when I get in "preferences", I can stop the bottom (last) post appearing first when clicking on a thread?

Edit. The shout box has gone!! Also, pressed the alternative view button, on the bottom of a thread and it now starts at the top. Bargain!
