went shut my chickens earlier and one of my barnervelder hens was sat on floor with her legs under her tried help her up just fell over, ate little out my hand, what can cause this? is there anything i can do? just her in box with straw at the moment

best thing pull her neck mate specially if you have others as they will eat her ,
i worked on breeder farms for a few years i not talkin shit
probably hips gone its common in layers

could be egg bound if its lathargic and sitting away from the others there was atopic on this a while ago do a search and see what it says there was some good advice Degsy

searched lame no results, shes only young. mite even be this years chick, all free range got 8 by 4 foot coop with only 13 in.
