i need some help??

hey everyone im in need of some help or advise, my bitch peggy is in season and she wont stop whineing and howling even thoe shes got food and water down :doh: i walk her everyday she allways gets a good run about and hunts at the weekends so i dont know why being in season can change her all together shes gone off food a little bit and is lacking on her running also ive had to run out to her a few times because she has done a big yelp, yet when i go out there shes running up to me looking better than ever :doh: . ive just put her some walm rice and milk down to eeze her stomake.. but now what do i do? :bye: :hmm:

please help thanks

my bitch used to cramp up a lot when she was in season! she would howl like sha was on fire! she did grow out of it tho! is she a young bitch.

maybe just a hormone problem! most women use that as an excuse to whine and howl when there is nothing really wrong! sorry ! lol

I had a lurcher did the very same thing and kept doing it with her paws up on the window sill (she lived inside) she was calling other dogs for a bit of nookie.
Took her to vets first season she had told vet that she keeps going to window and door whining and yelping and he stood there with the straightest face and said " Mr XXXXXXX I have to tell you that suzie is a slag" :icon_eek: :icon_eek: :icon_eek: He said she is calling prospective mates.
Sorry to tell you this but she did it every season untill she had to have a hysterectomy at 8 y old.

Woman problems, I've had bitches that just switch off during their seasons and will not work at all "lurchers and terriers"
Never did understand, but i guess men just weren't meant to.

Hi georgia,It doesn't look like i will be getting a pup then,when peg was with me she had 2 seasons and never made a murmer,to be on the safe side i'd get her to the vet asap or failing that to the pdsa,happy hunting hs.
