I was wanting to know from anyone with experience on electric training collars which companies did the best one, i.e. variable power levels, battery life, waterproof, range of transmitter, etc, etc.

Ok non taken, Ive trained cockers to a high level, lurchers to a level that works for me and just want to propperly sort out a few issues that i have at the moment that i cant seem to rectify and there is only so much punishment that a dog can take without major injury, but a good zap from a collar should sort it

Well it looks like im going for the canicom 1500 as the range is better than most others and it has all the things i want on it and it comes in at £254, thats £60 cheaper than the other makes with the same sort of spec.

Does anyone rate this unit

Well, we had a saluki x which used to go missing for hours until we put one of these on her, then she would at least come back to the beep rather than the shock. So I think they are brilliant!! (Thats just my opinion)
