hi
we have a 4 month old lurcher and the inlaws have one to we have had them about 2 weeks , they from the same litter, we live on the same plot of land, when we got them the intention was for them to live apart but they have ended up in the same run and kennel, basically they are inseperable. is this gonna lead to problems?
when training is it best to split them up or train them together? i find when trying recall etc they just end up playing?
anyone been here before? any advice greatly appreciated

i dont see it a problem them sharing a run but train them seperatly if you want the best out of them theyll only fook about otherwise atb

Not necessarily! Just because you have had a problem doesn't mean to say that all dogs will behave the same as yours!
Yes, if their status is the same then they will have status disputes:if one is more dominant and the other is happy with its place in life there shouldn't be a problem. Personally I think that dogs are often better together: they are a pack animals after all, BUT much depends on the breeding and type of dog. Some just need their own space too much to want to share. Others are much happier snuggling up together.
Exercise together some of the time, but make sure each dog gets to go out individually too both for training and confidence building purposes.
